I totally agree, The graphics look much sharper through hdmi in my opinion. Every;one that has the white pro console can say we are full of crap but, it is true my friend.

art, u need to grow up… my friend
people get what they can afford, and it shouldnt be up to u to decide which one’s better or not. just remember that NOT EVERYONE can run as soon as they hear of a new xbox edition and throw another $700 at microsoft.
and in my honest opinion, there isnt much of a difference between HDMI and Component. and i have both, only because the first one RROD’d on me. People have always believed what they’re told without actually thinking for themselves

From a technical perspective there is absolutely no difference between the video quality of component vs HDMI. They ARE identical when it comes to displaying a 1080p signal. HDMI has an advantage over component in 2 categories. One it is less bulky and two it is less prone to electromagnetic interference. Every other percieved difference is either interference or is in your head.

[...] Anyway, here’s the video of the first step in properly upgrading to a new Xbox 360 console. I’m sure plenty of you know how to do this but for the few who don’t, I hope it helps. In the video I make a reference to the Migration Kit form. You can download and find more information about that form right here. [...]

HDMI looks the same to me. bunch of BS

are you guys retarded? component only transmits in 720p hdmi is 1080p. do some research. thre is a huge difference of quality if you have a 1080p hd tv then you will notice it. Dont try to downgrade hdmi because you have component. it is will worth it and huge difference in quality.
March 26th, 2009 at 12:00 pm
actually. component can do 720p, 1080i and 1080p. you should probably do some additional research lol component will output 1080p just fine depending on the source (what TV, player etc) but i do agree…hdmi is the beez knees.

I’ve been having the same problem.
I even bought one of ebay, but it can only transfer between the harddrive and a PC (but I use a Mac).
Xbox support is not helping at all. I’m actually considering buying a new harddrive, because I know it comes with the cable.
