Marvel Ultimate Alliance Hero and Villain DLC
The moment many of you Marvel fans have been waiting for is finally here. The Marvel Ultimate Alliance Expansion Pack featuring eight (8) new playable characters is *available! Head out to the Xbox Live Marketplace and download The Incredible Hulk, Magneto, Hawkeye, Sabretooth, Doctor Doom, Cyclops, Nightcrawler and Venom, each complete with new signature powers, skins, dialog, conversations and achievement points.Â
Hero & Villain Pack Combo – 800 Microsoft Points

Villain Pack Single – 500 Microsoft Points
What’s interesting about this is that Activision is offering a combo deal in addition to the two individual Hero and Villain packs. That’s a pretty good strategy. There are some restrictions on these as noted by Major Nelson. *The packs aren’t available Austria, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Switzerland or Taiwan.

i like the ability to play some new heroes, i just wish they added some game content other then simply dialog changes and new playable characters to play the same story. *shrug*

My GF will kill me if I dont pick this up (she loves the Hulk)
Maybe with the new acheivements, they introduced some new objectives in the game?

thats odd, then what are the new acheivments for? oh well..
also might be a good idea to footnote about the Gold Eddition of Marvel Ultimate Alliance.. coming out May2007 will have the new content on disk. (info pulled off of the marketplace discription of the pack)

Playing with the Hulk will be cool. Deadconblade are you buying this DLC? I may pick up the game used and try this out again but for $10 I hope this DLC adds some replay value to the overall game. Can we take these new guys out online? What are the new achievements? How big is the file?

I’ve not opened every new character’s skins, but these are what I’ve found so far.
Cyclops: Astonishing (his all over blue suit w/hood & small visor)
Original (the basic black/yellow X-Men suit)
Classic (Bulbous yellow visor, yellow underpants & yellow boots w blue suit)
Ultimate
Nightcrawler: Astonishing (red & black w/ X on chest)
Classic (his original duds, red jumpsuit with pointy shoulder pads)
Age of Apocalypse (w/red tattoo/mark over eye)
Ultimate
Hulk: Classic (mean, grean w/purple pants)
Original (Grey and bigger)
Planet Hulk (Gladiator costume)
Hawkeye: Original (his typical 70’s-80’s Avenger outfit)
Modern (Similar to original w/armor and glossy goggles)
Magneto: Classic (The red & purple duds w/the bucket helmet)
80’s (Not that horrible jumpsuit w/the ‘M’ on the front, but a more reserved purple w/cape and no helmet)
Xorn (The helmeted imposter who claimed to be from China but was a Magneto (clone?) in disguise)
Ultimate
Dr. Doom: Original (Green tunic w/armor)
Secret Wars (Tech-ed up versio he created for his fight w/the Beyonder)
Kristoff (Cape- and hood-less version of when his adopted ward took over the role of doom [at full height though, it's not Mini-Doom])
Ultimate (Green robes and armor, with a pointy hood that looks sort of Ku Kux Klannish)
Sabretooth: Modern (w/headgear)
Original (That weird lion-like outfit w/the poofy turtleneck “mane”, as seen in his first appearance in Iron Fist and during the Mutant Massacre)
Age of Apocalypse (basic tan outfit w/the signature studded collar thingee)
Venom: Original
Marvel Knights (neither of these are very different, save the original has the big white spider-man symbol on the back while MK does not)
