Grand Theft Auto IV Trailer
It was nearly a year ago when Peter Moore unveiled his bulging biceps news that Grand Theft Auto IV would be headed to the Xbox 360 with exclusive episodic content. Since then, there hasn’t been any media on the game. No news, no screenshots…nothing. Until now. The countdown is on towards the first official trailer for Grand Theft Auto IV! March 29 is the date for fans of Rockstar Games’ series to witness GTAIV in next generation glory.

Best video game series of all time. Can’t wait for the actual release.

If it looks half as good as San Andreas it’ll be the best game for me on the 360.

I would say it certainly is one of the most important but personally I wouldn’t say it is the best. I’ll probably pass on this one like I have the other ones, but who knows maybe this trailer will change my mind.

I hope the trailer is more than a 2-second flash of actual game play footage. Heck, I hope they show some kind of game play at all.

Yeah, I guess I use the word best to symbolize their record sales and fan base. “Best” would be subjective from person to person. I still maintain that GTA:VC is my favorite game of all time, followed ever closer by Oblivion then GTA:SA.
In terms of significance it makes Halo look like foolish. Being painting into a corner of single-platformism being a key reason why.

Need to point out that exclusive episodic content is also going to the PS3 version too, obviously it’s going to be different to the 360 content.
I can’t wait for this. San Andreas was great but lacked substance, Vice City reeked of it.

I would laugh so hard if it looked just like Saints Row! Honestly, I hope not and can’t wait until Thursday to view the trailer.

Foolish! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. That is one of the funniest things I have heard in awhile. 2500000 copies sold in the first 24 hrs. Think before you speak Sirharper.

Umm… GTA has outsold the Halo series by a long shot, so your point is moot. Halo isn’t even one of the top 20 most revenue generated series. Halo may have sold that many copies in the first hour, but how many more did it sell in it’s first month? Not to mention that many people were very dissapointed by Halo 2 and are in turn not excited for Halo 3.

‘2500000′ copies of halo sold in the first 24 hrs………..right.

Bump Halo
I agree with sirharper GTA is the best video game series ever IMO, key words IMO

Hey Chaos, educate yourself before casting dispersions.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_best-selling_computer_and_video_games
At a mere 8 million copies sold Halo2 is barely in the top 25 all-time.
By comparison:
GTA:SA sold 14 million copies for PS2 alone
GTA:VC sold 13 million copies for PS2 alone
GTA:III sold 11 million copies
All of those figures make Halo look pale by comparison.
I am happy to see there are at least 3 other right-thinking people around here.
