Xbox 360 Elite?
Could this be the infamous Xbox 360 Elite that has the internet in a frenzy? Could there be a black Xbox 360 limited edition equipped with HDMI, a 120GB hard drive and a slick black finish? I’ve gotten so many emails asking for a comment, a hint or some small piece of information about this rumor that has surfaced yet again. I have no information. As far as I know this is nothing but a clever April Fool’s joke so I can’t comment any further about it.
If true, I’ll be grabbing one of the sweet black wireless controllers for sure! I’m not at all interested in HDMI but I do have a slight interest in the 120GB hard drive (Video Marketplace purposes).
lol nah i don’t. i think it’s all a scheme. the images i’ve been sent and posted seem fake. but that’s just me. i won’t be surprised either way though.
Well the images do seem fake but the initial posting by Engadget and then the follow-up about the data transfer cables by Ars Technica seem pretty real, also if it were fake I would expect Microsoft to comment, I think the reason they haven’t is because it’s in, whatever magazine this news first broke from and they want to give the magazine a chance to sell well in light of the hype, but who knows.

it’s supposedly in the April issue of GI..but that wouldn’t stop anyone. they’re not concerned about magazine sales…and for all we know the GI story is another April Fool’s type of thing or some made up story of “what if”
ever notice how these things spead so quickly? surely it’s no accident ya know.

I’ll be picking one of these up for sure.
Whether it be an April fools joke or not, Microsoft is not saying anything and that can only mean it’s coming. If it’s next month or not, I don’t think anyone really knows. I know i’ver personally been craving that larger hard drive space, and throw in the matte black finish I remember seeing from before launch on developer 360s and i’m sold.

Now that I got a new TV, I’m fairly interested in HDMI.
I don’t have a need for a larger HDD, I don’t buy WMP stuff and I just delete demos I don’t play.
Now please presuade me why I should get one? My 360 is in a cabinet so you can’t see it, so I don’t really care if it’s black.

I don’t think I will be getting one of these. I am happy with my current 360 and don’t really see the need to buy a new one. I usually erase game saves that I will never play again and game demos so I am not worried about space on my hard drive.
As far as movies I don’t download those to my 360, I prefer to use my DVD player or just by them on demand, much easier that way to me…
I just bought skins for my controllers which I love and now one is light blue and the other is pink.
So I am good for now…LOL…
