Celebrate more than two decades of the Castlevania franchise by reliving (or experiencing for the first time) one of the series’ most highly regarded games. The legendary 2D side-scrolling action adventure game from Konami Digital Entertainment, “Castlevania: Symphony of Night,” will be available for download on Xbox Live Arcade next Wednesday!
The Castlevania franchise is well known for delivering exceptional quality in all elements that make a great game – story, music, level design, character development, gameplay and controls. In “Castlevania: Symphony of Night,” the 12th iteration of the series, gamers take on the role of Alucard, the half-vampire son of the blood-drinker Dracula, as he ventures into his infamous father’s foreboding castle. Along the way, Alucard must collect items, weapons and armor to defeat the powerful boss monsters that block access to key areas of the castle.

A definite buy for me. Should be awesome.
I’m playing through Super Castlevania4 on the Virtual Console and it’s really fun. It made me want this XBLA game even more.

i’ll do the trial before i commit. although i NEVER intended on buying TMNT…my little brother unlocked the full version while i was on the computer the other day
cost me 400 Points on a game i had no intention of ever buying. no more letting my little brother play.

Defently worth the 800 points..
Even though I have it (still) for the PS1, even if this game was 1200 points its still a bargin.. That is considering that for a while this game was averageing $80 on ebay and assorted Web Game shops. Now I get to play it again and earn some achievements this time around.

This game is more than worth 800 points.Because not only is it hands down THE best game to hit XBLA, like Raithgar said the PS1 version can get pretty expensive.
