The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles just might make you shiver after all especially when you look at your Microsoft Points balance after you opt to download it when it’s released. In an interview posted a few days ago on the official forums for Elder Scrolls, Todd Howard, Executive Producer, spoke about the release date and price for this new expansion saga.
PC gamers and Xbox 360 owners alike will have Shivering Isles on March 27. It’ll cost $30 for PC players or 2400 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360 owners to download it. I suppose with so much being done to this expansion, this price shouldn’t be received too harshly. It’s a little too rich for my blood but what about yours? What say you?

For that price it is going to be a toss up for me if I get it or not. It will most likely come down to what I am playing at the time and if I want to take the time to play it. I am still working on Elder scrolls its self. I will most likely download it down the road and play it.

$30.00 is about right for an expansion pack..
I can’t wait to get it, I wonder how long it will take to download though??

I’m passing this one up. As much as I loved the game I’d much rather hold out and buy a full game than an expansion.

Seems a little steep for an expansion but I’ll most likey download it as I love the game. But still, it seems like after paying 60 bucks for the original game they should cut us a break on the expansion.

yeah that’s a butt load of points…but would it seem so much if this were sold as a game for $30 like it is for PC? i don’t think so. perception is weird lol but i’d wager that if this were packaged up and sold in Gamestop as Shivering Isles Oblivion $30, most wouldn’t matter.
it’s just the whole download thing and the whopping 2400 points i think that’s making it seem more than it is.

my so reliable sorces say that yes there should be an expansion on disc. well they also said condoms stop pregnancy but thats beside the point. If there correct it should be released mar. 27 through april 15. so well all se if theyr true if you have any questions email me at zim10223@aim.com
