Episode 31 is here for you to enjoy. Before all the hype about the Xbox 360 Elite, fans were in a daze over the Xbox Rewards program. Many of you, myself included, are still after that 1500 Gamerscore increase. Mo Lam, Global Product Manager for Xbox Rewards, joins me to speak about its history and what the future may hold for the program. Also, I took a few responses from the community about their views of the Xbox 360 Elite.

You all remember the trailer don’t you? Capt. Jack Sparrow is back again with the usual suspects of young Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann helping him in his adventures on the sea. Well Disney is apparently on full sail ahead with its promotion of the game as well as the movie. The game is set to release on May 22, 2007 and is inspired by both the 2nd and 3rd films in the series.

Well, if you’re waiting for more Johnny Depp Captain Jack, then take a look at few screenshots from the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version of the game. I’m so ready to see this movie!
I’ve come across quite a few things throughout my travels in the gaming industry. It has been quite the journey to solidify my geekness and well I figured I need to collect it so that my grandkids and their grandkids can know that it was once cool to be geek. From my ultimate accessory to the ballin’ Pinata kit, I’ve received some pretty cool things.

So I started my own personal ‘Bag & Swag’ to keep track of the cool things I’ve managed to get from my involvement in the 360 and gaming community. Don’t ya wish your boyfriend was a geek like me? Don’t ya wish your boyfriend was sleek like me? This is my Gamertag jacket. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
Today is the day. In just a little over 2 hours from now, the first look at Grand Theft Auto IV will emerge! Are you ready for the trailer?

To celebrate the Xbox 360’s one year birthday in Australia, Microsoft treated our friends down under with some cake. But this wasn’t just any cake…it was an Xbox 360 themed cake. It looks mighty tasty! I’m not sure if I want to grab a fork and eat it or pick up a wireless controller to play it.

Can I place an order for one of these? Great job Mr. Xbox 360 Cake Baker.
You’ve seen a few screenshots already. Strap yourself in for an incredible ride as Codemasters premieres the first trailer for DiRT! Opening with death-defying cliff-edge cornering on Pikes Peak, one of the breathtaking all-new Hill Climb events in DiRT, the video trails the bump and grind of buggy racing, and also reveals Colin McRae’s very own prototype performance car, the R4, in a dramatic crash sequence.
Created using in-game vehicle and environmental models, this is just a first taste of the exhilaration DiRT promises to deliver when it launches in June for the Xbox 360. (also available for PC in June, PS3 shortly thereafter) Continue on for the trailer…

I’m excited about it as I was one of the people who really had a good, yet different experience with Bullet Witch. Head over to read my review of Bullet Witch if you haven’t already. The theme pack looks pretty sexy and you can’t go wrong with the prices for the extra missions! Take a look at the Games Blade above and the rest of the images in U360’s Flickr.

Microsoft has just announced details on its 3rd SKU to the Xbox 360 family, the Xbox 360 Elite! It has a sexy black finish with a 120GB hard drive, an HDMI connection and will retail for $479.99 US and $549.99 for Canada . The accessories included (headset & wireless controller) in the 360 Elite are black as well. The Elite also comes equipped with an HDMI cable as well as a component cable. The new 360 Elite will hit stores in the US on April 29. Contrary to reports on the interweb, this is not a limited edition and there will not be any phasing of the current Xbox 360 Premium. The Xbox 360 Elite is a permanent entry into the 360 family. Consumers now have 3 options to suit just about any of their needs when it comes to 360 gaming.

Current Xbox 360 owners who don’t own an HDMI ready television yet want the hard drive upgrade need not worry. The 120GB hard drive will be sold separately for $179.99. It will come with a migration cable so that you can transfer your data from your 20GB with ease. Existing Xbox 360 owners who purchase the Xbox 360 Elite and wish to transfer hard drive data will be provided a migration cable free of charge. I’ve gathered some quick media coverage of the new SKU for your quick browsing pleasure.

Who didn’t know is the question that comes to many of your minds isn’t it? News this big rarely stays locked down especially with the internet paparazzi (bloggers) around. What do you think Deacon? Well, give me the hard drive and the black wireless controller and I’m set. I don’t have a television that supports HDMI so unfortunately I can’t dig in to the Elite. I wish the Premium would get produced in black.
What say you of the news? The Xbox 360 Elite - It’s bringing sexy ‘black’. (that’s my new tagline for it)
