Transformers were one of my favorite toys to play with years ago and one of my favorite cartoon shows as well. The Autobots and Decepticons were a staple in my mornings. On July 4th, Dreamworks Pictures and Paramount Pictures will bring a live-action movie based on the Transformers to theaters and I intend to be there on opening day. What I also plan to do is watch very carefully what Activision and Traveller’s Tales have in store for Transformers: The Game. It’s coming to the Xbox 360 this summer and it better be good.

You’ll be able to play with all your favorites including Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream and Bumblebee. Plus a lot more! With all that said, I wanted to give you guys and gals a look at the logo and the Autobot and Decepticon shields. It’s More Than Meets The Eye!

Are you ready? Unscripted Nights and Xbox Live are back to create a fantasmic (yes I said that) event once again! You all heard about the debut and the fun that everyone had right? Well, here are the details on how to get in on the next Unscripted Nights!

Date: Saturday, February 24
When: 9:00PM Central Standard Time / 7PM PST / 10PM EST
Where: Xbox Live
What game:

How do I find the game?
Send me a message via Xbox Live or Xbox.com before the event with only “Unscripted Nights” as the text. You can start sending these messages now. This will let me know you’re all in to ‘Get Lost’. I’ll be cleaning up my friend’s list to allow for as many as I can. During the debut I was able to get dozens of people in, so don’t worry…if you send the message rest assured that I’ll make every effort to get you in the game.
I don’t have Lost Planet…that sucks!
Don’t worry. When have I ever not had a plan? Well, I have a plan for 2 of you at least. Capcom is securing 2 spots for 2 lucky gamers out there who want to ‘Get Lost’ with round 2 of Unscripted Nights! So if you don’t have the game, you’ll get a copy just to take part in Unscripted Nights. How cool is that! You must send a message to me either on Xbox Live or via email at unscripted@unscripted360.com saying that you don’t have the game but you want to ’Get Lost’ with Unscripted Nights.
Act fast on this so that I have enough time to overnight the game to the 2 winners. Good luck and I look forward to another excellent time. Vital Suits FTW!
*edit - Winners of the game and guaranteed Unscripted Nights slots announced here!
I just wanted to pass along that I was able to successfully register! There are always community members out there who manage to find a way out of no way. I want to point out that although it worked for me, it many not necessarily work for you. I still encourage everyone to sit back and wait for the initial site to be ironed out. (Deacon’s a bad boy)

As you can see, I am a member since 2/14/2007 so it did work. I want to give credit to the people behind the design of the site. It looks great! They’ve even managed to implement the program into a jazzy, new Gamercard for participants to show off as they travel message boards etc.
As you can see, I have yet to complete any challenges but as I do, they will appear much like your games played appear on the regular Gamercard. Your Level is indicated by the highlighted Xbox 360 controllers. Currently, I’m Level 2. The site will keep track of all your trophies (completed Challenges) and also keep track of how many points you need to ascend to the next Level. It’s really amazing once you’re signed up. Anyway, on to the way I was able to register.
Click this link https://xboxrewards.msgamestudios.com/myRewards/Rewards.aspx and you should be taken to the Xbox Rewards page where you simply click ‘Sign In’. From there, it’s pretty much a ‘follow the prompt’ type of thing. Verify your information, click ‘Agree’ and you’re in. There are still some bugs in the site but at least you’ll be in.
*edit - I’ve been able to navigate the entire site so it appears as if the bugs have been worked out. Head over to www.xbox.com/rewards to get your registration on. Happy, happy…joy…joy.
Good luck.
Having trouble registering for the Xbox Rewards Program? I’m not sure how much a response will help ease your pain but there has been a response to the ongoing issues with the registration site.
“Thank you for the incredible response to Xbox Rewards. The gaming community’s interest has temporarily overloaded our servers and caused delays for those trying to register.
To help ensure everyone who wants to participate has the opportunity, the Old Spice Experience Challenge will be extended by three days. Now you have until April 15th 2007 to increase your Gamerscore by 1,500.
As a bonus, we are adding more rewards for this challenge, which means more gamers who successfully complete the challenge will get rewarded.
Our development team is hard at work to fix the problem. We expect the web site will be ready in 48 hours, please be patient and check back periodically.”
So you have a few additional days added to complete the challenge. Stay tuned for more updates on this. I haven’t even attempted to register so hopefully when the 48 hours is up, I will have missed all the headaches.
A little while ago, I mentioned I had done some guest hosting on a few shows. I never gave out links to those I don’t believe so I wanted to pass them along for anyone interested in checking out the U360 flavor on these shows.
I joined in on two podcasts with XBLAddict and TheMan661. So if you get some time, feel free to listen in on the two episodes.
DeaconBlade w/XBLAddict - Show #8
DeaconBlade w/TheMan661 - Episode #18
Thanks again to Frank (theman661) and YourExWife (xbladdict). I had a good time guys.
Remember Episode #22 about the HD-DVD drive/player for the Xbox 360? Well I got a strange email the other day asking that I review Constantine on HD-DVD because of the recap I did in the show. So if you hear me speaking a bit about Constantine on a future episode, then you’ll understand why.

Excellent! I get a free copy of Constantine just to give my thoughts about it on the show.
If you haven’t heard the word, there’s a delivery boy coming to Xbox Live Arcade tomorrow morning. The coin-op favorite returns but this time it’s enhanced with original content specifically designed for Xbox Live Arcade. A new multiplayer mode will allow gamers to deliver the paper co-operatively together on the same console, or over Xbox Live. The game also features new artwork that compliments and enhances the original style, and the audio has been modernized for today’s high performance sound systems.

How much: 400 Microsoft Points
When: Wednesday, Feb. 14, at 9 a.m. GMT (1 a.m. PST)
So right before you put the finishing touches on your Valentine’s Day gifts, head to the Xbox Live Arcade and deliver some papers.

The Achievement Rewards Program officially came alive earlier today. The community has been on fire lately with thousands of eager fans awaiting their chance to score some cool prizes for doing what they do anyway…gaming. Who will be the first to complete the 1500 Gamerscore challenge? Why isn’t Old Spice throwing in some deodarant to help with the hours of gaming we’ll likely endure to complete this?

Head over to www.xbox.com/rewards to sign up/register for this event! Currently there is a massive incoming of fans so the site is loading rather turtle like. Are you straight on what the annual Gamerscore means? Are you sure about the challenge level you’ll be in? Catch up on more details to answer those questions.

I’m sporting a fresh, new Penny Arcade Gamerpic. It’s another Monday and you know what that means. Welcome to another Monday Morning Scripted. First, a moment of silence for Anna Nicole Smith. She was way too young to move on. Ok, so I watched a bit of the Grammys last night and I’m glad that Smokie Robinson, Lionel Richie and Chris Brown represented for the light complexion peeps out there like myself. We’re coming back!
Anyway, I hope everyone had a good weekend. The NFL had its Pro Bowl game which spelled the end for the football season and what a painful end it was for Saints fans. Drew Brees dislocated his elbow. Ouch. The Dallas Mavericks are 42-9 on the season. I hope that carries into the playoffs for the championship win! Heroes is on tonight. If you haven’t tuned in to this series, then I suggest you take an hour out of your life to watch it. It’s a great show.
I know you all are waiting for the Old Spice Challenge to kick off but be patient. Today is the day. What time? I have no clue. Be sure you visit www.xbox.com/rewards though sometime today to register. I’ll make a note to announce it when the site is activated. Don’t miss out on the additional details of annual gamerscore, prizes and more. What’s the deal with the Halo 3 Alpha leakage going on? Do these people not understand what an NDA (non disclosure agreement) is?
There’s a new feed in town. I’ve been working the clock to get things situated for all you iTunes subscribers and RSS heads. So be sure when you’re subscriging to the show via iTunes or your favorite reader, that you subscribe to THE NEW FEED. Don’t let that stop you from listening in to Episode #28 with Def Jam: Icon producer, Brian Hayes. And don’t forget to Crack the Caption with Crackdown.
