Xbox Live Marketplace Refunds
A little over a week ago, I got an email from Xbox Live Billing explaining to me that I might be receiving a refund for an error in tax charges concerning Microsoft Points I had purchased via the Xbox Live Marketplace. I’m not sure how many of you also got the email but I wanted you to know that I received this mysterious refund today. I’m rich beyotch! No. Not really. The refund only amounted to $4.54 but I’m not complaining. That’s almost 2 gallons of gas baby!
For those of you who have received this email, be sure you have the correct information listed on your account so that the refunds are sent to the proper bank accounts.

I will also add that the bundles and other stuff my son had bought had not been used and thats why i’m being refunded and that they can see it was a huge amount spent in error

I can understand why they have the policy. But what about purchases made in error? I have made several purchases simply hitting the wrong button that I have not complained about. But it is easy to do. Esp. considering the red button is what you use to back yourself out of something except when it comes to purchasing a full game. Then its function is to purchase the full version of a game. In the interest of good customer service there should be SOME flexibility there. Having been an account manager and CSR for a national etailer, we never would have floated such a policy. Of course, the fact that Microsoft has a complete monopoly helps significantly… :X
