i have the same problem with the system link, it says no game session available, please help.

i am currently in iraq and downloaded the valor mappack in mid march 07 after returning from iraq i realized i cannot system link because it says no session is available please help me fix this problem i have no access to xbox live here is there another way, this is what we do for enjoyment over here
