Games for Windows and Vista
Microsoft is on full media blast with the coming release of its next operating system, Windows Vista. Even more important than the new OS, is ofcourse the new initiative Games for Windows. The entire OS has been built as a gaming platform and that means good things for people like myself. Sure you might say this has nothing to do with Xbox 360 but then you’d be dead wrong. One of the games under the new Games for Windows brand is Shadowrun, the first Live Anywhere title to pit Xbox 360 and PC gamers together via Xbox Live.

I want one! (and no I’m not talking about the girl) I know I’ll need to upgrade my PC in order to take advantage of games like Crysis. I’m still hoping for an Xbox 360 version though. Excited about the Vista release? Geared up for more with the Games for Windows brand? The guys and gals over at Gamerscoreblog have more photos from events in San Francisco and New York.

Yeah my laptop is 4 years old….geez that fast and the only games I have on it are CoD, CoD2, and BF1942. This also probably why most of my gaming is now only on xbox360. A new PC will run about $2000….not worth it to upgrade just for PC gaming IMO. I’ll just wait for Crysis to come out on xbox360…and hope its tons better than the Far Cry port to xbox 360.

I went to the NYC event and it was great!
