Halo 3 Beta - Notification This Week
Are you ready to find out if you were selected for the Halo 3 Beta? If you head out to Halo3.com, you’lll see that notification emails are being sent out this week for Phase One winners. I’ve seen a few people here and there already having received their notification but it looks like the bulk of people will start receiving emails this week.
According to the site, “Phase one registration is now closed. If you have been selected to participate, congratulations and stay tuned for an email notification on the week of January 22-26, 2007.”
Are your fingers crossed or are you simply waiting for the Crackdown route?

I’m almost definitely getting Crackdown either way, but it should be interesting to see just how many gain entrance through “Phase one”.

I’d be more excited to be picked if you got to play it before the Crackdown beta codes. The beta doesn’t excite me much, but I would like to take part in the Alpha/Beta transition tests, cause then you’ll actually playing something that at least 500,000 others aren’t.

Well, “Pimps at Sea”, er….”Halo 3″ is in Alpha test for Microsoft employees. I’m interested to see when they will open it to the public. I”m also interested to see if they will have different levels of the beta. What I mean is allow ‘X’ people in for beta testing for ‘x’ time…then release a related update for fixes and then allow ‘x’ more in….and on…and on.

Yeah I was pretty upset after going through the whole process, not being stopped at any point, only to discover it was only open to residents of the US.

The Shadowrun beta is over? I registered but got no e-mail was it random selection? Geez all tha tposting on their forums for nada!

I am Canadian, a shadowrun beta tester and the beta is open to North America. Although my account has had troubles, they are gettin resolved.
Still got my fingers crossed for getting in the Halo3 beta though.

Hopefully I will recieve confirmation of the Halo 3 beta invite within the next couple of days. But I will be buying Crackdown anyways just because it looks like a fun game to play.
