A little history: Back in the heyday of my PC gaming era, I was a HUGE Unreal Tournament player. We even played during lunch in middle school in the computer lab. One day, we were messing around with funny names, and I used YourExWife and it was a hit. People started expecting it, so when I got XBL in conjunction with Halo 2, I stuck with it. That’s about it, nothing to weird or funny, other than the name
I too have a good Xbox Customer Service story. I recently have been having issues with my 360 overheating (pretty sure it was a fan), and I take good care of it, give it good ventilation, etc. I called them up, went through the interesting/tedious voice activation crap, and talked to “Nick” for about 10 minutes, going through the motions and getting my info, and I had a box on my porch within a couple days. No problems thus far. It’s been out for about a week, so I’ll let you know when it gets here
For our podcast, since we frequently have guests, we use Skype. We have a skypein number if guests prefer to call, as well as the skype account for those who don’t mind using the computer. We use SkypeRec to record the entire conversations, then I use WavePad to edit and add music and such.
Also, Time Pilot is an awesome game (probably cuz I’m good at it)! Astropop is debatable, but Time Pilot, especially multiplayer, is sweet.
In any case, very thorough and interesting show this time around. Nice job.

Same here. Great show, I liked that you proved Xbox support is awesome. People always say nobody there speaks English and crap like that. Those people have probably never even called and are too scared to, so they just make crap up.
Also, it was cool to hear XBLAddict.com and YourExWife mentioned, that GT is hilarious.

yeah i’ve always had a good experience when i called..most didn’t believe me so i decided to prove it. i’ve already gotten emails challening me to come up with a real issue and see how they respond lol so expect another ‘proof call’ lol

Deaconblade you remind me so much of an old High School friend, seriously the resemblance in your voices and way you talk is striking. Good show as usual, helped fight the boredom while stuck at university,
