Deac, why are you and Godfree so into Viva Pinata? I just cant get into that game…….I really like NBA 2K7 and NCAA March Maddness though. Those should be some untouchables games Deac.

yep same here Harp. it’s not a huge deal. but people love to follow the hot news lol and i may have said that Feelz and it’s true at least to me…it’s not much difference…surely none to get obsessed about. so if i said it, it was true lol it isn’t a $400+ worthy difference from what we have right now.

Quality comparisons aside, cabling ease and cleanliness still remain as a big selling point for HDMI. Many good AV receiver’s have HDMI inputs and the ability to act as a switch/hub for them.

My $499 Toshiba 30″ CRT has two HDMI inputs and only one set of components. Even the cheap stuff has HDMI on it now. Apple new $299 iTV has HDMI, they seem to keep getting it right.

I do agree that HDMI added to 360 is not a huge deal although it should have never shipped without it.

As for a bigger HDD, who didn’t see that coming? Either MS will need to admit wrong and offer a bigger device or if not 360 will obsolete itself unnaturally quick. Believe that fanbois!

no i don’t think i said that. by different if you intend to say that hdmi is tons better than what most users are experiencing with component, then i’d disagree. it isn’t a significant difference…nothing that my eyes have noticed. is it better? sure. it is worth buying a new Xbox 360 better? no. not to me.

i’ve seen component vs DVI vs HDMI and well there really isn’t any significant difference that would warrant a new $1600 TV for HDMI or a new 360 with HDMI included. most people just respond in this topic because well it’s the hot topic and everyone is talking about it lol but i find that people rarely know what they’re talking about. and none even have a 1080p capable television which is the ONLY reason people are even talking about HDMI. too much follow the leader as far as i’m concerned when it comes to what most people talk about..”1080p is so great..yada yada” when most haven’t even seen it, there are hardly any games being developed in it this generation etc.

there would be nothing to say that any version 2 (if it happened) owner would be at any advantage over current owners without hdmi. a larger hard drive is a different issue though lol
