UFC Returns!
I’m a big fan of the Ultimate Fighting Championship shows. I ran across this bit of information on IGN about THQ and the UFC license for videogames. It looks like UFC is going next gen baby! I hope the fighting engine fits the UFC style better than the Xbox versions of UFC did. There is no release date yet or any other specifics about which consoles this title will appear on.

my worry is that the WWE games have never captured the magic they had back in the N64 days and I cant see the UFC games being any better on the next consoles. I hope they pull it off but Im not very hopeful

Not my sorta thing either. I see UFC as just a passing fad.
Like pro wrestling, UFC does nothing more than diminish legit martial arts.

It’s far from pro wrestling. All you see is real men duking it, whatever means possible.
It’d be nice to see a game like this and integrate some online into it, if it’s anything like FNR3, we might just be reading the makings of a great game.

It could be a great game if executed properly. I think it’s awesome getting together and watching UFC at a friends house. Oh, I guess this means every night is UFC night now.

YESSIR! I’ll be copping this one if it’s a better engine than the previous games.
Why doesn’t anyone hire AKI to do their engines anymore? AKI made the best wrestling games in the world - i’m sure they wouldn’t have too much trouble expanding the engine past wrestling!
Just my two cents, though. ^_^
