Win Gears of War in the New Year’s All-Nighter!
Not sure what to do in the minutes leading up to New Year’s Day? Well, TriXie has a little something for you extreme Xbox 360 fans out there who’ll elect to simply chill at home with a chainsaw and Gears of War on Xbox Live.
Date: December 31, 2006 – January 1, 2007
Time: From 10:00 P.M. Eastern (7:00 P.M. Pacific) until the cops come knockin’!
Gears of War All-Nighter Details

Why play?
Ten (10) lucky gamers will be selected for a brand spanking new copy of Gears of War signed by the military named fiend himself, Major Nelson. If you have a copy already, this is surely enough reason to own another one.
If you’re planning an event while playing Gears of War, be sure to blog about it or take some pics and send them TriXie’s way at xlmail@microsoft.com!

It would be an honor to have anything Major has laid his hands upon. I cherish my Major Nelson headset and Xbox 360 for Dummies book that Major sent me in February.

Thats a pretty weak prize given that the winners will all already have one.
On the other hand if you do win one I’m sure very small handful of guys like UNSCleric would foolishly pay a premium for it.
I’d rather one be signed by TriXie or even MUCH BETTER…Cliffy!

i’ll second the signed by TriXie comment
that would be bananas

this kinda sux cuz the only people who can win it is the people who ALREADY HAVE gow, oh well maybe income tax season i’ll be able to afford it

I was probably just gonna play Gears on New Years anyway, so getting a prize just for saying how it went seems pretty sweet to me. Nothing wrong with getting Major’s John Hancock, nothing wrong at all.

Wait a second… You have to already have Gears? They should give it to the people who don’t already have it (like me
).
December 30th, 2006 at 3:09 am
yeah, give it to someone that needs it!
And Sirharper and Cleric…can’t you guys ever stop fighting? lol.
(and deac…did i get the LP questions right?)

Still it will probably be the collector’s edition. So i’m not complaining, and come on it MAJOR NELSON!

Hmm…for me it was a little “RB6:V” to bring in the New Year.

I returned to Halo 2 for the first time in half a year. I can’t believe I’m still nearly as awesome as I was when left it. 2007 is the year of Halo, so I thought it was fitting.

Yeah, pathetic as it sounds all these “next gen” games so far have only proven how well set-up the online portion of Halo2 was.
Now let’s hope the bar isn’t so high that Halo3 ends up being a letdown.

Hmm
wish we had known this last night
lol

If I got it I would give it to someone who didn’t have it just me I guess
January 1st, 2007 at 11:35 pm
I would probably frame it. Like I did my Limited Edition Halo 3 Mylar Art print.

I don’t have a copy of Gears of War either and they should’ve had the contest for people who don’t have it. The winner may go sell it on EBay or something. I was suppose to get a copy from one particular person but after a month and a half nothing has come through yet.
January 2nd, 2007 at 10:00 am
I ended up not playing anything at that time.
…although I did pick GoW up again out of lack of Gamefly’s ability to send any of my top 5 queued titles.

well I figured why not I had nothing else to do on New Years….yes sad I know. In any event – if I win perhaps one of you that dont all ready have the game can have my original copy =)
