The day that many Trekkies and fans alike have been waiting for is finally here. Star Trek: Legacy for the Xbox 360 has shipped to North American retail outlets.
Bethesda Softworks® today announced that the highly anticipated strategy/action game, STAR TREK: Legacy™ for the Xbox 360™ videogame and entertainment system from Microsoft is shipping to North American retail stores.
STAR TREK: Legacy places you in the Admiral’s chair as you command your hand-selected fleet of starships into battle. Featuring striking space environments, detailed weapon effects, and full damage modeling, the single player Federation campaign and robust multiplayer modes span the entire STAR TREK Universe with over 80 ships and 4 playable races. While commanding Federation, Romulan, Gorn, or Borg fleets, this real-time combat game provides a strategic and tactical experience as you battle across vast sections of space.

STAR TREK: Legacy features the voices of all five actors who portrayed the original STAR TREK captains – William Shatner, Patrick Stewart, Scott Bakula, Avery Brooks, and Kate Mulgrew. The collaboration marks the first time the five actors have participated in a single STAR TREK project together. In addition, Bethesda Softworks also worked with acclaimed STAR TREK writer, Dorothy “D.C.” Fontana, and her writing partner, Derek Chester, to provide compelling and authentic storylines for STAR TREK: Legacy.
For those who may have missed it, you can read up on Unscripted 360’s interview with Mad Doc Software’s Gary Conti for more about Star Trek: Legacy. Keep your eyes on U360 as I’ll try to get my hands on it for review.

North America, eh? Then why isn’t EB Games carrying the game? Why has futureshop just pulled their listing of the game? So help me if they don’t release this game in Canada!!!!!!!!!!

If I’m not a huge star trek fan, will I not be able to enjoy this game?
Also, does anyone remember the old star trek they had on NES?

i think i remember that one Rham and i’m sure it’s like any other space adventure and even non-Trek fans could enjoy it.

It is a Canada thing, rumor has it that Bethesda was too incompetent to include a bilingual manual. I just bought the game off of Ebay, because Bethesda and Mad Doc refuse to answer questions about it.
