Monday Morning Scripted – Best Superman Ever?
Well the holiday is over and it’s back to ‘normal’ as far as work goes. I hope everyone had a good vacation and was able to get some rest in. I know I did. But now it’s time to get back to the nitty gritty…the world that is the Xbox and Xbox 360.

I hope you all have at least checked out the Video Marketplace to see the potential there. I know there are ongoing problems and if you haven’t heard, the Video Marketplace team is working feverishly to handle all the issues. For those of you who don’t have broadband or Xbox Live, there’s a video on Unscripted 360 for you to check out about the Video Marketplace.
There are a host of hot topics running through the Xbox community including sequels, browsers, mouse and keyboard hoopla etc. For all you Zune owners out there, if you want to get Unscripted 360 on your Zune, head over to FeedYourZune! It’s a full featured RSS reader and Podcast Media Player. The first one to get U360 on the Zune, I want screenshots!
I got some goodies from EA this weekend, including Superman Returns, and I must say that the game was a surprise to me. Look for my review of that this week. It has its issues but is it still the best Superman game ever? You’ll soon find out…at least from my point of view.
I also want to let you all know that I’ve contacted Capcom about the issue some of you are having concerning the Lost Planet extra map and the code card from White Friday. I’ll post details on that issue hopefully today.

In other news:
Rumors are swirling that the January 2007 Macworld Expo will feature the latest revision of Mac Pro’s with Blu Ray burners. This will of course further prove the format is not a Sony-owned property as is though by those that are less-informed.
Also speculated to be announced is the “TruVideo” iPod. Imagine a current iPod that was all screen with touch-screen controls that pop-up on demand and you get the idea.
Both are products I will buy immediately upon release.

I hear that in superman you just fight robots, robots and more robots. I want to take a chance but i keep hearing it’s mediocre at best. But i’ll wait for your review Deac and decide then.

I rented Superman and thank god I did, I’m so glad I didn’t waste my money buying it. EA really dropped the ball on this one, but given their 360 track record so far I’m not surprised at all. If you’ve played the demo you’ve pretty much played the best parts.

some stores are not giving the code card for the additional map on the Lost Planet demo. when you preorder you’re supposed to get a code card.

Is the Video Marketplace just for movies and TV shows or will community videos also end up there as well? Like you can purchase strategy guides for some games. If I could get gaming news (official news) on Live via the Video Marketplace, then that would be great.

there are other things in there..musis videos, trailers..i’m sure they’ll put community videos up as well.

Right on! I remember reviewers panned N3 and alot of gamer’s still like the game. So we’ll see, plus theres the code to play as Bizzaro but you have to buy the Supes DVD.
I’ll preorder lost planet just for the fact i get an extra map. That multiplayer demo looked hot.
