Video Marketplace Walkthrough
For those of you not connected to Xbox Live or broadband etc, I put together a quick walkthrough of how to access the Video Marketplace as well as some other navigating tips. I also want to note that for everyone experiencing issues, the Video Marketplace team is actively responding to several issues in the Xbox.com message boards. They’re working to get things situated for everyone.
I can imagine the thousands and thousands of people trying out the new feature so I may just wait until the dust settles before I head out to get Poseidon. Anyway, for those interested, head down below for the link to the walkthrough.

Any questions, don’t hesitate to ask. I’ll try to track down any answers that you may not have been able to come across from the message boards.

I got a question…but I know you don’t have the answer
Is it up and working normally now though Deacon? I heard there have been some pretty major issues.

I’ve been downloading Beavis and Butthead with no problems since it launched, I’m going to own all of it soon.

if you mean as far as accessing the content Intangible..then yes. if you mean ‘normally’ as in speeds…i’d say i don’t know as i haven’t tried downloading anything. i’ve read reports of speeds still not quite up to par but i’m not sure how much of that is due to people’s connections etc.

i have the only question that needs answering.
Why did you fuck us Europeans over Microsoft?
Seriously, whats up with that?

How many times does it have to be said, Microsoft isn’t in charge of what content is provided where. Think about it, why would Microsoft limit the pool of customers.

I wish we could buy movies and keep them….oh well, at least we get to keep the TV shows….

it’s not something they can control. your country and its laws etc are at fault i’m sure.

Well we have other download tv shows and movies services in Europe so Iit’s obiviously not a legal problem.
November 26th, 2006 at 2:20 pm
You have them through Microsoft? Microsoft and whoever is providing the content need to agree on terms and sign a ton of paperwork I’m sure to provide content in countries overseas.

LOL @ paying 160 points per episode of Beavis and Butthead when the complete DVD sets can be bought at Costco for less and you can play them on a lot more than just your puny Xbox 360 drive.
Whats up with Viva Pinata not allowing backups to be made of the game saves to the MU? Thats pretty wrong.

The selection on the movies need to get better, China Town, Chariots of Fire and the Exorsist 2 shouldn’t even have been considered !
November 26th, 2006 at 10:26 pm
Chariots of Fire won Best Picture in 1981.
…just sayin.

I wish we could buy movies and keep them….oh well, at least we get to keep the TV shows….
that was said i was woundering if thats true?
And i herd that new Xbox360’s are being made and are supost to be greater then the origonals what is different about the new ones if they are being made?
I say If these New xbox 360 are being made just for movie rentals and tv shows. And if u can only keep the tv shows and only rent movies u wont need these extra 360’s i say its not that great of an ideal who wants to rent id rather buy movies but that me not everyone els.
And these tv shows how many are there all together ?
