Welcome to another Monday. I’m happy today because the Dallas Cowboys dethroned the Indianapolis Colts yesterday. I’m happy today because tonight on Heroes we could quite possibly get to the end of ’Save The Cheerleader, Save The World’. I’m so ready for tonight’s episode of Heroes! I hope everyone is good in Xbox 360 land out there. There were quite a few things that came to light this morning that I’m going to share on this Monday Morning Scripted.
First up is a hilarious video by Laura Foy over at on10.net about her adventures to see just how loyal PS3 fans are. She offers up some pizza and an autographed Xbox 360 to the person who is willing to get out of the camping line. It’s a very good video you all should check out.
Do you guys remember Precentor? He was in a Showcase a little while back. Well, he co-hosted a podcast this weekend w/FearTheBoot and he’s giving away some cool swag. Listen to the show to find out the details. The details of the contest start @ 05:30 into the show for you impatient ones. Some of the goodies include a cool Xbox Live neon sign and Arcade Unplugged Vol. 1. There’s nothing like free swag. I got dibs on the neon sign!

As for your topic of the week Deacon: 360 will “win” as expected by default. The same way PSP and old PS2 won last year by default and lack of 360 supply. If that shipment of 600,000 PS3’s hits before end-of-year the tally will be far closer than anybody expected. 360 will have a hard time selling 1 million in a month even when purchased by default.

That on10 video was fanboishly worthless. What was proven…that some stores did line tickets and others announced their supply? Or was is that a free Xbox 360 is a no-brainer opposed to a $600 PS3? Of course the guy could just sell the 360 (at an autographed premium) and buy his PS3 in a few weeks. Looked like the UNSCleric videos minus the Napoleon Dynamite theme. 400,000 units to North America guys, thats more than 360 had with a MUCH restock rate assured,
I am happy to see even a reduced Live feature version of GoW was able to unseat a 2 year old Halo2, it’s about time.

If anybody got confused, my real name is Michael, so I’ve obiously had a fair amount of nicknames in my time. “Tex” is the nickname that my high school gaming group had for me.
