I know one of the few times I was kinda glad I didn’t preorder cuz I heard about the free faceplate from C.C. and snatched one up. I can’t wait for Lost Planet to come out it looks amazing and the gameplay will be fun.

According to Capcom’s announcement can preorder at Walmart or Best Buy. You’ll get the extra map and some other incentive.

If you got stuck on Gears with Gamestop, go ahead and preorder from someone else after the 24th (as someone above me posted).

I agree. I preordered Gears from EB. If I had not I could have got a free faceplate from CC.

Preorders are not seeming to make much sense anymore. Nothing is really scarce it seems.

im not gonna pre-order cause of the Gears debabcle, instead my local best buy will get my money. Im very luke warm on game stores now. When the vision camera came out and all the Eb/Gamestops were sold out, guess who had the vision camera? Yup Best Buy.

Anyway i enjoyed reading this and good job Deac. This game will be a purchase for me no questions asked that demo rocked my socks. If the graphics are more improved then the e3 demo i cant wait.

I’d wait on the pre-ordering, if you even can yet, because of this:

Retailers will also give gamers a chance to preorder the game on November 24th, which has been dubbed “White Friday” by Capcom. Anyone who preorders the game will be given a token card containing a code for XBL that will let you download a separate version of the multiplayer demo that contains an extra map, “Dilapidation.”

People who go for the Collector’s Edition of the game will also be given access to a second bonus map which won’t be released until summer of 2007 as a free download.
