Ok.  So the Xbox 360 Wireless Headset made its way to my doorstep yesterday and I thought I’d give my own initial opinions of it.  First off, it’s absolutely sexy!  The design of the 360 Wireless Headset is really hot.  I could stare it at all day without even using it.  It’s very light, it’s sleek and it fits really comfortably around your ear…at least my ear it does.  There are two separate ear pieces you can use…one being for larger ears I suppose while the other ofcourse is for those of you with smaller ears.  You’ll get a charger to keep your headset charged as well.  You can’t replace the batteries…it’s only rechargeable.

When I synched everything up, I did a little voice chat with Deejay Knight (who also has one) and the quality was a noticeable step up above the wired headset.  I didn’t say leaps above it but it was noticeable.  I even walked around the house to test its range and I didn’t lose any reception or strength with it.  I’ll have to use it more with a larger # of voices to really test it out but for now, I’d say I’m really satisfied with it.  If for nothing more than convenience and sleek design, the Xbox 360 Wireless Headset does the job.
