Xbox Live Arcade - Lumines Live!
You may not be able to log on to Xbox Live at the moment but isn’t stopping a bit of good news to look forward to. Those who have been waiting for this adventure, can now rest easy as Lumines Live! will be available for download in the Xbox Live Marketplace tomorrow. I just got home and you know how my press catch up can be and this is what was waiting.

Xbox Live Arcade Wednesdays is making some extra noise this week. The highly anticipated music-puzzle action phenomenon, Lumines Live! can be yours starting tomorrow, Wednesday, October 18, from 0800 GMT (1:00am PDT) on Xbox Live Arcade. The newest addition to the blockbuster franchise from Tetsuya Mizuguchi and Q Entertainment comes packed with puzzles, modes, exclusive music videos and full online multiplayer play over Xbox Live. The game even has an exclusive feature that records high score gameplay in the Time Attack Mode which can be downloaded and played back by any other player.

i never played it either…so i don’t know…most of the people i talk to say yes though.

I picked it up for the PSP and found myself not playing it too much. It was a little entertaining, but the main thing that bothered me was that you always have to start each game from the beginning. There are no checkpoints like in Zuma that only push you back to the beginning of the main level. So, once you get going, it gets pretty annoying and boring when you have to start all over.

hmmmm… Sounds like one that needs to be checked out but at that price hmmm.. I don’t know I guess I will have to wait to see.

too expensive, dont like how the game is bought in packagese. A puzzle game doesnt seem worth that much after buying Marble Blast Ultra, shoulda cost 400 MSP.

I think its funny that the community’s most wanted arcade title wont even have a release party now because of this maitenence.

Release party? Lol you late night forum posters. I do not understand why people are so excited about this game, I doubt it’s worth the money, for me at least.

you are right though, gr8 game but id rather get the psp version as its cheaper and, well, more complete.

360 version = better graphics (bigger screen at least), sound, and online multiplayer.

yeah but its pick up n play style lends itself to a handheld.
