If you remember a little over a month ago, I posted some interesting facts as it pertains to the crowd that gathers around Unsripted 360 day to day, month to month etc. Since I’m sure you all are nutcases by now with the scheduled maintenance going on, I figured I’d run through more interesting facts a month later.

These things are interesting tidbits involving keywords, countries and other things that I find interesting when I browse through some of U360’s stats. Again, I’ll list the top 2-5 things in each category. Discuss if you must.

everyone is itching to be the first to post a “WTF” thread i’m sure. i’ve read a few comments here and there (especially on Major Nelson’s site) and the people are in a rage ..it’s unbelievable really the reaction.

People are in a rage? No big deal to me.

yeah rage was putting it lightly. most of them are calling for a day of credit to their Xbox Live account lol

You know, that thought crossed my mind about Live being down so long.
As for the forums, heck I hope they never come back!

i don’t need the credit…i mean there are days upon days throughout the year that i don’t play on Xbox Live..so i guess i’ll chalk one of those up as a maintenance day…i can’t believe that some people play everyday, all day as their complaints seem to suggest.

Almost one year…haven’t missed a single day. There have been times when my 360 blog didn’t register that day but I was there.

I don’t think this is the case for many, it’s the fact that they could have played today and their just looking for compensation, I’m sure Trixie will lots of nice things to say about the…dedicated fans and their…strong opinions.

In honesty I could care less about this lost day. But I will stress this makes a total of 3 days over he past year Live has been down. Thats nearly a 1% downtime rate.
ISO 9600 standards for enterprise datacenter uptime call for 99.9%. This means that MS (of all organizations) has failed this industry standard almost 10 times over.
Just food for thought.

That is interesting, maybe just maybe this update is to prevent having to take everything down in the future…unlikely but it would certainly redeem them. If not they will also need to take down the service for the dashboard update this fall.
