Deac, I can’t agree with you more about having a browser on your TV. As a former Dreamcast user I know that using a TV screen (especially a SD one) and a keyboard to surf is painful at best, and there isn’t any substitute for a PC, even a cheap one.
That doesn’t mean that my 360 can’t interact with the Net, though: my 360 can blog, but imagine if a game like Viva Piñata (and yes, I am a Piñatan in waiting) could blog too?
As for topic of the week, this harks back to the discussions you had with Gamerchix and has become more relevant with the camera: Do you think the feedback system works, or doesn’t it go far enough?

topic suggestion (though no prize for me lol)
What would be the one feature you would include on the 360 if you were king for a day? (anything goes)
Oh man, thats gonna get some wild stuff lol

Topic Suggestion:
What do you think about the news about the revised GoW multiplayer?
Oh yeah the reason Cylon Agent was bitchin’ about 1080p is because he has a 1080p TV, but it dosen’t support 1080p over component or VGA, only HDMI.

Great show Deacon! My topic of the week suggestion is: Why have we not seen 40 player games on XBL. Sony is able to have a launch title like “Resistance Fall of Man” with 40 players online.. I know many doubt it, but both Sony and the developer are confident it will support up to 40 players online. Keep up the great work!

Great show, deac. I like how you’re now focusing on popular topics on the forums. I recommend picking one (or two) popular topic from the busiest forums (Xbox360, A/V, Xbox Live) to talk about in your podcasts. But I’m not trying to tell you how to do your podcast…..
And yes, GeOW will still be a system seller despite what some people seem to hope for. Every single preview across the board has been overwhelmingly positive and Cliffy B knows what he is doing. And besides, Epic games (in general) are synonymous with great multiplayer action.
Topic of the Week
Suggestion #1: How do you, the gamer, plan on balancing playing all the great holiday games and spending time with the family?
Suggestion #2: Xbox Live is a great selling point for the Xbox360, but have you held a LAN Xbox360 party yet? If so, describe how it went down.
