Yes, I’m done downloading this demo, but I cannot play Xbox Live because my account is still silver member. Just waiting for my dad to get home so we(my dad and I) buy an 3 month gold membership.

It’s really fun once you get into a game, but getting into a game can be really difficult. Then when you finally get into the game, for whatever reason the host frequent ends the session. Oh well I still look forward to playing it when I get home.

@bzpot15
They actually included instructional videos with the demo, I would highly recommend that everyone who dowloads the demo watches them before playing the game, even if you’re a veteran of previous plinter Cell games.

well it sucks that it’s a multiplayer only..and when you have to wait for such a while to get in a game and then hosts sit there for a long time before starting.

Agreed, but I still do really enjoy the game…when I finally find a match.

Did you watch the videos that tell you how to play? They helped me immensely. On a side note I finally have something to divert my attention while I wait for a certain interview.

Things i liked about the demo: would be the new way to disable lighting and window paines. Hacking the terminals are pretty cool. Graphics look really good but what SC game doesnt! Instructional videos are very helpful and very smart on the developers part to include them.
Things i dislike were that its hard to hook with friends in the demo, multiplayer only. Lack of levels, Meriliss OPS seems like they have unlimited amo. Not sure i only played as a spy so i could be wrong. Not enough gadgets.
Will i be getting the game hellz yah im a huge Splinter Cell fan. But i dont know if this demo is the final build we all will be playing, or it was intentionally dumbed down just so we can get the feel of the MP portion of the game.
Also this maybe nitpicky but i would have loved to have more ways to take out an enemy besides sneaking behind them the breaking thier necks, or when their standing by the railing or when you hit Y to jump down on them from uptop.

Were you actually able to sneak up and break anybodies neck? It’s damn near impossible now that they get a warning whenever you are within 10 metres, and it intensifies as you get closer.

I meant to sat UPSILON forces in my last post i dont know where i for that other name. I think its someones name over LIVE. Anyway yes i was able to break a neck and its cool. It was in the first level called MISSION 01: MOTORWAY 90 Intervention zone.
Baiscally you have a limited amount of time to download as much data from 3 terminals, RED, YELLOW and GREEN. I was able to download a full file from the RED terminal which take sometime. After that was finished the screen changed a bright blue it was a MERC, for some reason he didnt see me and he was standing beside a small tractor (the kind you use in wharehouses to load crates). so i ran to the left crouched down and snuke up behind him and pressed A and he was a gonner and Pressed A again to finalize the neck break. You donhave to be quick human opponents are alot harder for the obvious reasons and the fact thaty there always moving around. You dont get the luxury of the CPU standing there and waiting.
its also hard to completely stick to the shadows some area’s are just to lit up and you have to be in the light for a few seconds.
