   i’m just not sure what the appeal is with Final Fantasy and games like this. i was a Zelda fan a LONG time ago…does that count?

   Zelda is action adventure, that’s pretty far from MMORPG.

   Yah i got FF and i just odnt have the time to put into it, plus i need a keyboard cause the on screen one blows. So im thinking about cancelling my FF MMO subscription but part of me doesnt want to. MMO’s are all about playing in a massive game space and connecting with other gamers. Kinda hard to explain though but i will say that FF has one of the best XBOX LIVE communities bar none. Very helpful and friendly people to noobs. Granted i only met a few but they did help me greatly when i needed it the most so for that i give them big props.

   This game doesn’t even have a persistent world, AND they are going to be charging a monthly fee. I say no way to that.

   yep, ive learned my lesson with games like FF and WOW. Ill just stick to SR and the occasional Oblivion Rent

   That’s an excellent point Intangible, i have the demo downloaded but i can’t say that the 9.99 hunter’s fee doesn’t bother me cause in a way it does. I just feel if were paying 59.99 plus tax for a game and a subscription to xbox live. Then why should we be forced to pay an addtional 9.99 for the fee just to play this game over XBOX LIVE. I understand the PS2 and PC games are having to pay for the fee also and PSO had the fee abit it was a lil cheaper.

   I just think it’s another example of a publisher nickel and diming the consumer/gamer. A passing of the buck to us and honestly it just is not right.

   There was no nightmare installation as with “FFXI” beta. I’m not much of a MMORPG player, so you can bet this is coming off very soon.

   honestly this is a great game, I understand that some people dont want to put the time in it but still its like a hook. Also i like that way PSU does it because if any of you played FF11 past level 15 then you know that you must party up and pull monsters. PSU does it better by elimating the competion for monsters
