Xbox Live Pipeline - Marketplace Made Easy
Remember all the posts about not knowing what was new in the Xbox Live Marketplace or not being able to find the new picture packs, themes or even the latest Arcade entry?

Well, finding downloads on the Xbox Live Marketplace just got a bit easier with the introduction of Xbox Live Pipeline. Now users can easily find the hottest downloads, the newest Arcade release and tons of other Marketplace news easier than ever before.

Looks good, but what it is missing is the ability to see gamer pics from the site- you have to click on a link to the xbox.com site.

As long as it’s as up to date if not moreso than Major Nelson’s website than I think it’s a very good feature.

yep the gamerpic preview needs to be added.

Same thing about the Gamerpics.
They need to have it laid out like:
GP#1-(insert actual GP here)
GP#2-(insert actuual GP here)
etc.
etc.
etc.
And the themes need to be like:
XBL Blade:(actual bckgrnd with and without words in the way)
Games Blade::(actual bckgrnd with and without words in the way)
etc.
etc.
But anyways…..it’s a great idea, but it could use a few tweaks.

Thats pretty wicker actually, the interface looks simple enough.

Someone was telling me it only shows two pictures for the themes and that they are not even the pictures that make up the theme, just generic pictures from the game. That is definitely something that needs to be fixed, otherwise people will start getting upset and start saying it’s false advertising I imagine.

Seems hard to get excited about such an obviously needed thing.
Nonetheless, it’s a step in the right direction or at least a step toward correcting an obvious missing element.
