So who is this guy behind the console?

Hello everyone, the person behind this console and gamertag…is an older gamer with a big passion for video games, since my dad introduced me to videogames…in the late 70’s…. I have never stopped gaming, I love it.  Of course there are bigger and better things in life; having a family for example in my opinion is the best thing someone can ever experience in a lifetime.

And gaming just makes it better.

For the one person who may not have guessed, what’s the story behind your Gamertag?

Ok…now…well, I love Star Wars and guess who is my fav character???

HAN SOLO…and that is why after trying many different tags…I finally settled down with this one.  It’s just me.  Also, it kind of gives you an idea of what kind of person I am…. very similar to HAN SOLO.

When did you decide to ‘Jump In’ and has the Xbox 360 experience been a good or bad one for you?

Well, I jumped in with MS and its consoles since the original Xbox launched, and it has been great.  Of course there were some things I would have done differently or some decisions with the 360 that I don’t agree with, but overall I’m a happy Xbox and 360 gamer and it can only get better.

What are you playing the most on your 360?

Believe it or not, I really enjoy Far Cry.  It has its problems of course, but I just keep going back to it, and then of course Oblivion.

Which title would you say has been the biggest surprise on the 360 so far?

So far, the title that surprised me the most on the 360 is Kameo.  I know it’s a short game and it had to make it for launch, but, overall, from graphics to gameplay to LOAD TIMES and SCREEN TEARING, it’s just the best out there, everything is perfect.

There’s always a game that you wish you hadn’t wasted money on.  Which is that game for you?

Yes…one of the games I hated the most was (sorry fans of the series…it’s just my taste.. don’t take it personal) Dead or Alive.  I still don’t get it.  Why would Team Ninja waste time on that game instead of giving us a next-gen Ninja Gaiden.

Ok.  Fast forward. It’s the release of your most anticipated title. What game would it be?

HALO 3.

Halo 3.  Ofcourse.  What has been your most ‘next-gen’ moment with the 360?

My most next-gen moment (so far there were not that many on the 360…mostly because developers are either being lazy…or just learning how to program for the 360) was playing Fight Night and admiring the damage I was causing on the cpu character.  That was great, but unfortunately there hasn’t been an experience on the 360 as when I first played Mario 64.  So far nothing has come close to that “priceless next-gen moment”, but the future looks promising with Gears of War, Halo 3, Forza 2, and Rainbow 6.

How do you feel about what the Xbox Live Marketplace and what it has delivered so far?

The Marketplace could be very very good, but so far I don’t think it has even come close to what it could really do for MS and the 360.  I guess it needs some trial and error time before it really takes off.

Do you plan on purchasing the HD-DVD add-on or any of the new peripherals for the 360 soon?

I would prefer to purchase a newer 360 model with the hd-dvd built in the system.  I hate add-ons.  And also I’m getting the vision cam.

What feature would you say is the best reason to get an Xbox 360?

Well…it’s the only system where you will be able to play HALO 3.

The Fall update is coming soon.  Are you looking for any special additions?

Yes.

1 I would like a new blade just for clan support.

2 An XBL stat blade, where it shows the total hours your system has been played, what games and how many people are playing online, top most played game of the week.

3 A blade where MS and other publishers can list upcoming games with date of release, pics and features…and overall gaming news.

Interesting list.  One game. One shot. You against Harrison Ford. Who wins and what game are you playing?

Let’s see…Forza 2 on Laguna Seca.  I know that track so well I can race on it blind folded.

Any last comments?

Yes.  Thank you for giving me a chance to speak up.  I’m a gamer and to people that think I’m a fanboy, sometimes a Nintendo one and sometimes a Sony one, they got me all wrong.  I just love games in general and I own and will buy all systems.  I collect them all!
