And the good times keep on rolling…join me again in another Unscripted 360 Showcase.

It’s the K to the Y to the D yall…

Everyone usually starts off with a little about themselves outside of gaming…so go for it.

Well, I’m 15 years old, and I live in the Northwestern suburbs of Chicago. While I’m not gaming, I usually am playing Tennis (I’m on varsity for my school, GO HAWKS!), playing baseball, working out or am on the Xbox forums, which are very addicting to go on. I also am trying to skateboard, but am failing horribly. I started gaming with the SEGA Genesis, and have bought all gaming systems from there. I’m pretty competitive when it comes to gaming, and sometimes it gets so competitive in some of my Halo 2 matches, the fists start to fly.

If you all remember, I posted about going to the EA Canada Community Day event for Need for Speed Carbon a few weeks back to preview their upcoming title.  Although I had to pass on the trip, I did send someone on my behalf and he did a fantastic job with a preview of the game.  It’s set to race onto the Xbox 360 in November so watch for it!

Before you head into the preview, be sure to check out all the screenshots of the game from the Community Day event that I posted to U360’s Flickr page.

Need for Speed Carbon Preview

Many of you have probably downloaded the demo of Just Cause already.  Now it’s time to get those burning questions answered that I’m sure are sitting right on your brain.  Avalanche Studios is set to take a sit down with Unscripted 360 and hammer away at answering any questions you all have on their upcoming Xbox 360 title, Just Cause.

You know the routine…email or post the questions/concerns you have and I’ll get them on the show for the interview with Avalanche Studios on Just Cause.

Many fans have been clammoring for some attention to the list of backward compatible titles for the Xbox 360.  Well feast your eyes upon the August 2006 BC Update.  Everything new or updated has been marked for your convenience.

THQ’s Saint’s Row releases Tuesday, August 29 nationwide.  Hopefully I can wrap up the THQ interview soon.  Some gamers already have the game.  This is the first game of its kind that has come to Xbox Live and I’ve heard some interesting discussion about the online aspect.

I plan to only play this game with friends as I fear what a random Quickmatch might bring.

“Represent yo’ hood *@!#* with that blood”  Let’s police Xbox Live better…if you hear any of this, use the feedback system!

I’m exciting to own the streets of Saint’s Row but I’m not too thrilled about what taking this game online might mean.

What say you?

Yep, it’s Monday.  What’s the biz for this week?  Well I didn’t see any movies this past weekend although I wanted to try and see Snakes on a Plane but didn’t get the time.  I did have a Madden NFL 07 event with a few friends.  They seemed to enjoy the game as well as the Vision Camera.

I posted a new clip on YouTube with some video chat footage and visualization footage so be sure you check out Deacon effects enabled lol

The Games Convention in Germany is over as well as the PAX expo in Washington.  And just to clear up some questions I got about PAX, it wasn’t a media registration-only event.  So if you had about a $100 and could foot the hotel, anyone could’ve gone.  So don’t blame anyone I suppose except the wallet in your pocket if you didn’t attend.

I want to send a congratulations out to two of our own in the community.  DirtyDiva (Xbox MVP) and CPaladino (Dreamstation.cc).  Both Sara and Chris have scored the job of all jobs and have joined the Microsoft Games Global Marketing Community Team.

So if you see them around, be sure you drop a congratulations their way!

Are you still fuming over EA obtaining the exclusive NFL license to market/produce and essentially own all of pro football in a video game sense?  Well it hasn’t stopped Midway from the pigskin arena.  So if you were a die hard 2K fan and still want an alternative to Madden, then Blitz: The League may be just what Bill Romanowski ordered this Fall on Xbox 360.

No…I have no news about an Xbox 360 version.  But Midway sent the Leipzig trailer my way and it was really too cool not to share with everyone.

Some parts of it reminded me of Halo 2 for some reason.

Don’t have time to download the hot Arcade titles…missed out on Texas Hold ‘Em for whatever reason??

Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged Volume 1 to the rescue.  It’s overloaded with 6 Arcade titles including Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved and Texas Hold ‘Em among others.  It also comes with a 1-month Xbox Live Gold subscription!  Six (6) Arcade titles, 1-month of Xbox Live and other demos for $39.99 US…shipping on September 5th!
