Exclusive titles – Xbox 360 dominates?
There’s a lot to be said about exclusive titles these days and which console has the best…which console has the most. There’s a comparison running around on ‘Next-Gen’ exclusives which means those games that are exclusive amongst ‘Next-Gen’ consoles and doesn’t take into account if a particular title appears on an original Xbox, Gamecube or PS2 as well…but rather as long as it doesn’t appear on another ‘Next-Gen’ console.

Take the list for what it’s worth. I’ve browsed it and well I can’t confirm the #’s are true so don’t ask. 78-Xbox 360 / 55-Wii / 43-PS3

Cool! I knew the 360 had a lot just not that many. I have believed Banjo Threeie to be in existence and because of the domain but where did you see it? I heard it just missed E3 06′, but was it confirmed?
August 11th, 2006 at 3:57 pm
it hasn’t been confirmed outside of it appearing on someone’s Gamercard recently…does that mean confirmed?? who knows..it’s a good sign though.

Who’s gamercard? Did you see it?
August 11th, 2006 at 4:18 pm
no i didn’t personally see it lol. i’ll try and search around and find out the post i saw it.
edit – here we go…it was a fake they deduced yet the game is still listed as a game for Xbox 360. you never know about this stuff until it’s confirmed ya know.

You’re welcome! j/k

Ok, I would be very surprised if like someone from Microsoft was playing it and they let it show up somewhere.

I like how going through each list my emotions changed dramatically. Xbox 360 = ZOMG I want almost everyone of these games!!! Nintendo = ZOMG more mario goodness!!! PS3 = …hey MGS is back cool… lol, Not trying to show “fanboyism” if that’s a word just showing you what I thought of the exclusives is all.

Did i see correctly? I would not mind having Double Agent. Advanced Warfighter and Superman being slated for the PlayStation 3.Will Sonic be on the PlayStation 3? Tony Hawk is definitely going to be out for that. Has Kirby been announced by HAL Labs and will Spyro go Next Gen? I got to go figure this out.

Hey Deac!
The main issue with your point is that the 360 has been around for a year longer so it’s got more announced titles at the moment, and PS3 and Wii haven’t even launched yet. Make a similar list this time next year and I’m sure it’ll be a lot more even.
360 does have a great line-up there though.
August 12th, 2006 at 1:33 am
That does make a lot of sense bruinfan05. Yeah, especially with that 360 head start. All the consoles will get more and more titles over time.
August 12th, 2006 at 2:20 am
wow. 78 Exclusives, eh? 360 FTW.
August 12th, 2006 at 10:24 am
To be fair, alot of the titles on the 360 exclusive list have been on other systems like the PS2 and Xbox, but if we’re talking Next–gen only then yeah, 360 does look good.
To be expected really considering its been out for almost a year now.
August 12th, 2006 at 10:33 am
I just realised that nearly all the multiformat games that are being released on lal 3 consoles would have to be reworked for the Wii, wouldn’t that make them exclusive in a way?
So, the PS3 and 360 would get almost identical versions with the Wii getting something that would be different in visuals and gameplay.
Wii wins it by technicality lol
August 12th, 2006 at 5:20 pm
Yeah, if you think about it, even Wii game is exclusive.
August 12th, 2006 at 5:50 pm
Zomg!!! Broon!!!
I figured you’d agree
August 12th, 2006 at 6:00 pm
it’s not my list
just reporting it
August 12th, 2006 at 6:18 pm
lol we know. I’m just stating my opinion on the matter ’tis all
February 10th, 2009 at 2:42 pm
I don’t understand this, Oblivion? Dead Rising? Why exclusives?they are on PS3 and on PC also…
February 10th, 2009 at 6:52 pm
did you look at the date on this article? lol
