Dead Rising Demo

Get your undead fetishes fixed with the release of a new demo for Capcom’s Dead Rising.

Head over to the Xbox Live Marketplace now to download it…folks over in Mexico, Germany, Australia, New Zealand and Asia will have to kill zombies some other time as it’s not available in those regions.

Why is it not available there?

Don’t fret, get the lowdown on why from Major Nelson and his nifty little FAQ explaining just that.

i like the demo. it’s a bit repetitive tho, i mean all you do is smash zombies, some people might like that tho. if you liked the movies you’ll love the game. i woun’t buy it tho, i don’t think it’s worth 60 bucks, but i’ll definitely gamefly it and keep it for a month.

you know, i always see posts of people having trouble downloading content of the marketplace. i have a cable modem/router/360 wireless adapter combo and i never have trouble d/ling anything (knock on wood). in fact, i always download things as soon as i see them, even if “everyone else” is d/ling them too and it doens’t take me more than 10 minutes, that includes the dead rising demo and chapter 2 for graw. however, i feel for those that have problems. i live in the east coast (nj) btw, not sure of that makes a difference.

Well i finally finished D/L’ing and just played it. Man, its fun :) . i think the graphic in Dead Rising are awesome, and it runs very smoothly even tho there can be a lot of zombies on screen. I also liked how it,unlike most demos from the Marketplace, ran in widescreen so the resolution was really crisp (i use a 19 inch 4:3 monitor with the VGA cables). im looking forward to the final game.

yea, the demo was impresive to me. I really like the golf club and shopping cart weapons, so use them if you haven’t yet.

I must have left the playing area because the demo went into a cutscene. Definitely a game to explore and “mess” arround in.
