No Test Drive Unlimited demo this month?
Not long ago, U360 posted that a new TDU demo was planned for the Xbox Live Marketplace this month. Citing some credible sources, it sure seemed like that news was right on target.
Or was it? U360 will find out for sure in an exclusive interview with Eden and Atari coming soon. For those who are counting on this demo though, don’t say you weren’t warned if/when it doesn’t show up. (a little birdie told me)

Hopefully I can get down to the bottom of this for U360 listeners before the game releases. If you have any TDU issues yet unanswered, post about them and I’ll bring them up during the exclusive interview with Atari and Eden.
I don’t anticipate the Q&A (not a live recording unfortunately) will be far off so stay tuned right here! In the meantime, enjoy the attached screens that Atari unveiled of the new Noble soon to be driven when TDU hits store shelves.

The screens look pretty good. I think I’ll be waiting for Forza though.

i only report what birdies tell me
demos in magazines don’t count of which i’ve been told one may appear in a September issue of a highly used magazine..not sure which.
but the birdie sounded pretty sure that there would be no demo before the launch of the game.

lol they might be if a demo does show up this month. we shall see. hopefully though i get a quick turnaround with the interview to squash the issue.

Ryan of OXM reported that there would be a second TDU demo in an upcoming issue of OXM.

I was readin in OXM that TDU was gonna have an MMO for multiplayer. Will this cost extra?
August 4th, 2006 at 4:41 pm
continued from above—————- and if this massively multiplayer system does cost extra, how much and do ou have to have a cedit card. Cuz I pay for my live thru prepaid service, and that woud reall suck.

this was passed along to me concerning the UK price. looks like that’s just the way it is seeing as how there is a larger fan base in US.

I’m not too bothered about having to pay the standard price for a 360 game, it looks like it’ll be worth it
BTW, those who don’t know I’m british and I’ll be buying TD:U regardless of the no-discount stance Atari are taking.
