Gears of War Emergence Day Nov 12.
There are some of you out there who don’t know about this highly anticipated Xbox 360 release. Shame on you if you don’t. In previous news on Unscripted 360, a supposed viral marketing campaign was launched as word came down about a BIG announcement from Epic concerning Gears of War.
Here it is! Emergence Day will cometh November 12 for North America although some stores will receieve shipments November 7th and may hold retail prior to the 12th. Regular editions of the game will retail for $59.99 US and collector’s edition $69.99.
The price is no surprise as Unscripted 360 revealed the price last week in Episode #4 during Five Calls.

- Australia/New Zealand – November 24

Is this too good to be true?? PS3 on November 11? Greatness!!!
But Deacon the 11th is on a Saturday according to my calander which is
better since its on a weekend. That way for those who have jobs they don’t have to worry about calling in.

Everybody should note that the PS3 date varies based on the source. Some say Nov 11 while others say Nov 17. Of course they could both be wrong!

In sweden the releaseday is set to november the 18th, the same day as they release the PS3

Based on Deacon’s post I just went down to the EB around the corner from my office and pre-ordered the GoW Collectors Edition. I know…I know… $70.00 for a game but I think this one is going to be one of those I will want to remember fondly for years to come. I should have bought Halo 2 collectors edition and I did buy Doom 3 (but traded it) and PDZ. I can’t wait to play GoW. Are you guys planning something special for Emergence Day? Should we maybe setup a plan to all get together an play via Live!?

i’m all for that plan Ghost. the CE is a must for this game..i only buy ‘certain’ CE’s..Halo 2 was one as well i bought the CE for.

i’m mad as hell that this was the BIG anouncement. i don’t know about all you guys, but i already knew the game was coming out in november. maybe not the esact date, but come on.
