There’s nothing like a good cause spreading through the community and we may just have one for you with a really special Double Unscripted 360 Showcase.

Two members…One goal…and the only place to check it all out…

Before we get started on what brought you two to Unscripted 360 for this Showcase, let’s find out a few things about ya.

There are always different people behind what they choose as Gamertags.  So tell the readers who are the guys behind x SeanZ z and CARmakazie?

CAR - Well, I’m a 14 year-old gamer. I started gaming on the SNES when I was very young. Ever sense, I have been a gamer. I love to read and listen to music, too.

Sean - For me personally, there’s nothing special behind my Gamertag. I really wanted Z, a nickname all of my friends gave me, but its taken (by a 360 Launch Team member who never playes his 360.) The reason the Z is capitalized is because it’s a nickname my friends gave me since my last name is Russian and is so hard to pronounce.

Are there any fun stories behind choosing your Gamertags?

CAR - I saw my Gamertag in an ad for Battlefield 2 for the PC. Some guy was driving a dune-buggy of a building. I later bought the game and used the name, while doing the same stunts as the ad showed.

Sean - The only funny thing I could think of is how many times people have asked me what the Z stands for, and all they say is “Huh?”

How has the Xbox 360 experience been for each of you so far and when did the two of you ‘Jump In’?

CAR - The Xbox 360 experience has been life-changing. I “Jumped In” around November 2005. Best jump I’ve ever experienced.

Sean - I jumped in on December 25, 2005. Luckily, I read a post over on the Xbox forums about someone who called the Costco in Norwalk, a city very close to me, which had them in stock. My mom got over there and got one, but didn’t let me open it until Christmas. My 360 experience has been amazing, and I know it will only get better.

You both have Chromehounds.  Is that a favorite title for either of you?

CAR - Quite possibly, it could be! I have 50+ hours. Best Xbox 360 title released.

Sean - This is my favorite title for the Xbox 360. NCAA 07 has only been over it on my gamercard due to the fact that I have been deprived of football for so long on a gaming console. I plan to be back in action with my Chromehounds squad Mech-Assault soon.

Which Xbox 360 title are you looking forward to?

CAR - Dead Rising. Who doesn’t enjoy killing zombies with umbrellas?

Sean - I am definitely looking forward to Saints Row and Madden 07 come August. The demo for Saints Row is amazing, and Madden from what I have seen will be on a level that no other Madden has been on in years.

Is there a game that you wish you hadn’t played or wasted your money on?

CAR - Prey. Its an awesome game, but it didn’t have a long enough storyline and it needs more online modes.

Sean - Definitely Perfect Dark Zero. I was so excited about this game, and was very disappointed with how it looked, and the gameplay. I know many people loved this game, but I could never get into it. (Why I traded it in.) Also, Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter was a huge letdown in my eyes.

What’s the best thing about the 360 and the experience playing in the next generation?

CAR - The Graphics. The Controller. Xbox Live. I could go on forever.

Sean - Well I know this doesn’t have to do with the system, but the new community is amazing. With sites like this, it really makes it a joy to come on here late at night after I’m done partying like a felon. With the system, I would have to say the Marketplace, the demos have really helped me out with decisions on whether to buy or rent a game, and I love the Xbox Live Arcade.

There is always talk about the features the 360 has both current and future…one being the addition of a web browser.  How do you two feel about having a browser?

CAR - Why don’t we have one again? I would pay to get one on my Xbox 360. I love the idea.

Sean - I don’t really need a web browser on my 360. I have a very good computer I can get on to do that stuff. Plus, who knows, with the things they got going on these days someone may even be able to create a virus that can infect the systems. I will leave the web browsing up to my computer and PSP.

I’m not a browser fan. New peripherals like the Vision Camera and Wireless Headset are set to arrive on the Xbox 360 soon.  Are you planning on getting any of the new items?

CAR - Every last one! Especially the Xbox Vision Camera.

Sean - I am planning on getting the Vision Camera, because I feel it can make the game experience so much better. With features like face mapping, it can really be a great thing. As long as Microsoft has a way to keep the freaks off of it. As for the headset, I have a pretty sick headset now (a Plantronics one), and it is perfectly fine for me.

You both are active in the 360 community and you contacted Unscripted 360 for a specific purpose with this Showcase.  Talk a little about the Live Strong Faceplate.  Where did it come from…what is it about?

CAR - Ah, the faceplate. Well my uncle had Leukemia and survived due to the popular LiveStrong® rubber bracelets. I thought “It saved his life, lets save more!” So I made the faceplate with the Nyko Gameface 360. I posted up a picture on the Xbox Forums and got better feedback then I imagined. X SeanZ x offered to make a website to spread word. We then contacted Microsoft and Nike about it and here we are. By the way, you know Trixie. Can you throw in a good word to her about this. We want it to be a future Official Xbox 360 Faceplate. We will donate every cent to the LiveStrong Foundation.

Sean - Well this was completely CARmakazies idea. His uncle survived Lukiemia, and I thought what he was doing was a great idea, and a great cause. I decided to go ahead, and partner up with him on this one to do whatever we could to get this known, and to get it sponsored or something of that sort by the LiveSTRONG foundation, or Microsoft. I am currently working on getting a website worked out (once all legality issues are cleared) , and I felt it would be a good idea to come on here to spread the word a bit. We have a tremendous amount of positive feedback in the forums, and we really appreciate it. I have also had some friends who had close relatives diagnosed with cancer and Leukemia, so I know a little bit of the pain felt.

Many people will look and ask if this is something legitimately created to help.  What can you say to these people to convince them your intentions are legitimate?

CAR - Well, all we can do at this moment is give them our word until Microsoft or Nike contacts us to be our sponsors.

Sean - Well if our intentions weren’t legitimate, why would we give 100% profit made to the foundation? We are in no way in this for the money, we just want to help save peoples lives, and possibly make people see one small effort like this, can make a world of difference to somebody.

Can’t find wrong in that. What can people do in order to show support for the Live Strong Faceplate?

CAR - Just give us feedback in or Xbox Forum. That’s our main support link that shows Microsoft and Nike that it will sell.

Sean - For now, just post in the thread you provided a link to. When we get the website up, join the site and just be a part of that community as well. Also help us contact MS about this, so we can get this thing rolling!

Ok. One game.  One shot.  You two against Ken and Ryu.  Who wins and what game are you playing?

CAR - Oh, that’s a toughie. Tie game on Chromehounds!

Sean - We are playing Street Fighter II, and we OWN them!

Any last comments?

CAR - Thanks to everyone on the Xbox Forums and thanks for letting us be on your Showcase.

Sean - I just want to thank you DeaconBlade for allowing us to be part of your Showcases, and helping us get the word out. It would be appreciated if people could help us get any information they can on how to get this sponsored, or how to figure out some legal issues we are facing. One again I would like to thank CARmakazie for making this idea, and I want to thank the community for all the support. Look for a website soon guys!

It was a pleasure guys.  We can never have too many gamers who genuinely want to help the community and others.

Wow, thanks guys for the feedback. Unfortunately, Nike turned us down for the idea, so the idea has been tossed, but don’t expect this to be the last you’ve heard from me, I have more idea’s up my sleeve ; )
