I know the word has trickled around but for those @ U360 who may have missed it, the Saint’s Row demo for the Marketplace has a confirmed time. I previously posted the date but now you have yourselves a time.

Interesting that this showed up now in Marketplace. I was just discussing the demo on the September OXM DVD. This was the first time I recall that OXM had a demo prior to it becoming available on the Marketplace. I had expected that the Marketplace wouldn’t get the demo right away in order to help OXM boost sales. I haven’t actually seen the numbers but I believe that OXM has seen a decline in subscribers since the marketplace started offering the demos. I know this was the main reason I decided not to renew. When I still only had my original XBOX, OXM was a monthly source of great playable content. I didn’t really read the magazine as most of the content was not as up to date as what can be found online. Now that I can get my fill of demos on the Marketplace it makes OXM unnecessary.
Maybe Deacon can get someone from OXM on his podcast to talk about whether or not they have plans to do things like the Final Fantasy beta or other promos that would encourage myself and others to take another look at the magazine.

I’ll wait for the OXM Disc to arrive to demo. I’ll be buying this game on release day anyway so I don’t really need the demo.
Great idea on trying to get an OXM person on the show though!

I Liked what i played so far which isnt much, it will defenatly be my sandbox fix till GTA one thing made me laugh i crashed my car and my passenger launched about 100 yards through the windscreen and down the road lol

I agree with you collinout. SR will be my fix to hold me over until GTA. I was really counting on SR in the early days before we were sure the next GTA was coming to 360. My interested dropped sharply when the GTA announcement was made but I will still be there to buy SR when I get out of work that on launch day. I don’t know of any place open at midnight for it.
