TriXie joins Unscripted 360

Do you know this girl? She’s Xbox’s own TriXie…resident gamer girl, reporter, spy, Xbox.com community editor….etc. And she’ll be joining U360 this week so get ready. You asked for her and here she is! So get ready for the next show as U360 goes one on one with TriXie!
Saturday’s show should be a doozy indeed. You know the routine as far as Q&A goes, so if you have something you’ve been dying to ask TriXie, make it known and I’ll try to sneak it in and see if she’ll answer. (no guarantees…naturally there are things she can’t comment on so be mindful of that when submitting questions)
As always thanks again for tuning in to U360 and get ready for U360 this Saturday w/TriXie!

That picture is hot.
July 26th, 2006 at 9:07 am
I agree. That’s a nice picture! And I can’t wait for that show!
July 26th, 2006 at 9:15 am
Deacon…I can think of nobody better to follow up my interview.
Work on that echo though, Do you record off the speakers or do you feed off a line output? I think I know the answer already considering the background sounds.
July 26th, 2006 at 9:16 am
I don’t know lol. I think last night that was more of a Skype issue as it hasn’t been much before…either way, i’m always working on the recording to make it better, clearer etc.
But yep…this one w/TriXie should be fun.
July 26th, 2006 at 10:57 am
Nice. i can’t wait for this one.
July 26th, 2006 at 11:03 am
I’m glad to to read the TriXie will be with you on the podcast. I think her presence will also enhance the notoriety that your podcast is receiving. When it comes to XBOX related programming I think if you continue to keep up the momentum, yours will soon rival Major Nelson’s as one of the most popular gaming related programs available.
Keep up the great effort!

July 26th, 2006 at 11:16 am
Exactly.
Down with Hrybaganda. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=hrybaganda
Up with Deacomania!
July 26th, 2006 at 11:21 am
Yep, let’s start the Major Nelson bashing, let your immaturity flow.
July 26th, 2006 at 11:24 am
Major’s a HUGE influence behind U360. no bashing the Major.
July 26th, 2006 at 12:04 pm
LOL…whatever fanboy you’re done, now more than ever. People are definately starting to find out what you’re all about. It won’t get any better for you until you open your eyes and drop your act.
Deacon…you can respect what Larry has started for sure. Take cues off him for your program even. But even Wikipedia suggests he’s a shill. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_Hryb He was even nominated as a fanboy. He failed the certification process though. Unlike the real fanbois he actually gets paid to feel that way, there is an expectation of a certain level of blind-devotion that comes with that.
July 26th, 2006 at 12:12 pm
Wikipedia can be edited by anyone, how is that a credible “source”?
It’s as credible as your loner forum site, where you, and you alone, talk to yourself about other people, it’s actually pathetic to look at.
July 26th, 2006 at 12:19 pm
Only think pathetic here is guy that still doesn’t understand how 360advocate operates even after it was so clearly explained in the interview.
Thats actually tennant #2 of fanboism at work: Disbelief in truths contrary to the desired perception, even in the face of overwhelming evidence.
Matter of fact Deacon even mentioned it also.
July 26th, 2006 at 12:23 pm
Yeah, we should all just believe you that you have Xbox MXP and Xbox.com forum mods all on your site, helping you “behind-the-scenes” in your pointless “fanboy and hero” battle. Do you know how ridiculous you look? It’d be the same as me saying I have Xbox team MVPs and whatever else helping me out with my site, but I can’t show you. It has zero credibility.
You are freaking out about people being excited for and enjoying a videogame console, what a crime these people are committing.
July 26th, 2006 at 12:41 pm
I could care less what you want to believe. Fewer people care about what you say everyday now. You wouldn’t acknowledge truth even if you were able to see it. Now people know where to go to see the documented evidence for themselves.
Excitement about a product is not a crime. It’s pretty stupid though when you think about paying for something and then having it own you, but thats your problem. Making false statements however about some superiority and presenting them as a kind of facts should be. It’s very much harmful to the community to have a special group of liars (knowningly or unknowingly) going all over the net and making misrepresentions. It turns people off just like the posts you make in the forums.
As for credibility, you are missing the point (by choice I suspect). I am showing my evidence. Where is yours to dispute mine? In the court of public opinion I like my chances against a 19 year old grocery store stockboy with nothing to run on but blind zeal.
July 26th, 2006 at 12:48 pm
If you want to post some good threads from Xbox.com, you should post the ones where you make personal attacks like that, and the entire forum flames you for it, those were always fun.
You’ve already shown in these comments why you are banned off Xbox.com’s forums, you bash a guy who goes out of his way to contribute to the Xbox community in a huge way. Major does not have to do any of what he does, his job is to direct programming on Live, like setup promotions and things like the Gamercard in the forums. His blog allows him to more easily know what people want, but that’s because he now gets harrassed 24/7 by insane immature people. I don’t get why you’re bashing people like Major Nelson, who does nothing but try and stop the disinformation when it comes to Xbox, and spends his free time almost every week making a blogcast that tens of thousands of people download.
July 26th, 2006 at 12:52 pm
and you know what, I’d rather be 19 years old and work at a grocery store and be a gamer who loves his system, than a 35 year old guy who spends hours each day complaining and creating little societies to nominate people as fanboys, it’s just absolutely pathetic to even think about. It actually almost makes me embarrassed to be someone who is very into video games and electronics, because people hear that, and picture someone like you.
If you wanna dedicate yourself to some kind of cause, why not spend your time doing some charity work, or speaking out against all the senseless killing that is currently going on in the world. It really says something about someone when they get so insanely worked up over people liking one system over another.
July 26th, 2006 at 12:57 pm
We can go around like this all day. My evidence is captured and shown for anybody that wants to look at it. Let the public decide! Thats what I want. Like I said, I love my chances.
I’m sure the fact I make posts on Larry’s blog that are positive as often as I make negative one, or that I give as many 5 stars to threads on Xbox.com as I give 1 star, or that I am on sites like this one often saying positive things…completely escapes you doesn’t it?
All I can say is that Larry himself admitted his HD-DVD podcast came off as fanboish, but I bet that also escaped you didn’t it. Here’s the difference though…Larry gets paid to feel that way. WHAT IS YOUR EXCUSE???
July 26th, 2006 at 1:03 pm
Why are you bashing Larry then and posting links that slander him?
July 26th, 2006 at 1:13 pm
I was going to leave it at that but you double posted and I am compelled to respond to your latest nonsense.
How in the heck do you know I don’t give to charities? I’m pretty sure my tax return last year showed over $7000 to charities. As for the killing around the world, yeah that makes me pretty mad. Seeing civilians being killed in Lebanon and Israel, Iraq and Somalia makes me mad as hell. Aside from cutting off the funds I give to Israeli charities what else do you want from me…run for office? That option is on the table.
As for your appearant disgust in having me as a fellow gamers, get over it! Guys like me are what pays the bills for games companies, not so much guys like you. 360advocate is no more pathetic than setting up say…a Halo obcessed fanboy site if you really think about it. Your MySpace page though really goes over the top. In that end thats what a fanboy is, somebody that is excessively over the top.
July 26th, 2006 at 1:42 pm
and why exactly have you devoted your internet life to what people like me do? Why are you obsessed with what I like?
July 26th, 2006 at 1:51 pm
lol…I’ve devoted myself to improving the 360 community and user base representation on the internet.
Right now that consists of getting fanbois to cease with the rethoric and misrepresentations and to calm down before we all become laughing stocks.
July 26th, 2006 at 5:12 pm
wow I cant wait for trixie to be on the show. As for this fanboy stuff, im going to stay out of it. No need for me the get caught in this.
July 26th, 2006 at 5:16 pm
Can you ask trixie if she is married.
July 26th, 2006 at 5:59 pm
i don’t need to ask that one..nope she’s not married.
July 26th, 2006 at 9:08 pm
Ok, permit me to ask a few pre-interview questions of Trixie…
1.) Trixie, as an XBOX Ambassador I am interested in learning what plans are in store for leveraging the knowledge and people power of the folks who are Ambassadors. Many of us have brainstormed via the forums but we would like to know what you might have been working on.
2.) Recently you and I communicated via XBOX Live! message regarding the Party In A Box promotion. I was one of the many who submitted requests to participate and was wondering the status. You told me that details were still being worked out and that you would start notifying folks soon. Any idea how soon notifications are going to go up?
3.) I notice that you spend much of your online time playing various arcade games such as Zuma. Are these types of games your favorite genre and are you looking forward to any particular upcomming titles in this genre?
4.) What do you feel is the most rewarding part of your job working at Microsoft?
5.) If you could enter the persona of any game character out there, who or what would it be and why?
Well anyway, I’m sure Deacon has plenty of his own questions to ask. I’m just glad that Trixie is taking time out to allow Deacon to interview her. I am also thankful that she is generally very accessible to the community. Keep up the good work Trix!
