I’m learning that scheduling is indeed the biggest obstacle when having people on the show…but U360 is going to work it out. I have a feeling though that this particular guest will garner quite a few reactions.

Great Ep. Btw I read somewhere that Rockstar the People that make GTA signed a deal with MS that GTAIV will be Xbox 360 only.

Great show deacon, i enjoy hearing peoples opinions regardless of what ‘side’ they’re on. I mean, when you think about it, we’re gamers, whether it’s a playstation or an xbox. Like he said, they do have a great collection of games. The only reason i’m not getting one is because of the price, if it was $200-$300 cheaper i defninitely would.

Hey Deac, nice to see the shows are going well. Havent posted in a while been kinda busy. Hope all is well at your end of the world.
Anyhoo, the PS3 fan! Good topic but this interview highlighted and re – inforced my opinion on the Sony and thier new console/computer/BRay/breadbin/Grillstation/Spaceship or whatever you or Sony want to call it. This opinion is that it is overpriced, its a Trojan horse for a BRay player, and its not gonna touch the sales of the PS2 and could well be knocked off of the top spot as console king by the 360!
The guy for a PS3 fan did not even sound convinced himself about the system. For starters he isnt even gonna buy one at launch (Whoa, a PS3 fanboy with a brain). But seriously, if this is one PS3 fan who isnt gonna buy one at launch you can guarantee there will be 100,000′s more that will be in the same boat = Not good for Sony.
Also from listening to him he has no idea of what the PS3 will be like, what the specs are, wether it will use all the BRay space for games, how much the games cost, what the live service will be like, what the launch games are and the list goes on. There is only one reason for this. Sony havent told thier loyal fans anything, squat, nada, nowt! That is why the 360 community is by far the best. The powers that be care about their community, hell, they even pretty much let the community design features for the dashboard and then implemented them.
Anyhow, I could keep writing about this subject forever so Im gonna stop now. Keep up the good work Deac and hopefully ill bump into you on live at some point (not sure what you play on live mostly) and ill give you a good kickin on something.

PS. Resi Evil 5 is coming out on 360. Oh and pick up LOTR BFME II its awesome!

that\’s what i\’m here for guys…to stir things up
if we look closely enough at it, the PS3 community is just as much \’involved\’ with the Xbox 360 community as any Xbox 360 fan is. so i wanted to let anyone who may be a multi console gamer or PS3 only, that Unscripted isn\’t afraid to have them on the show…not one bit.

@Brass, no GRA IV is not Xbox 360 only…it\’ll have exclusive episodic content though.

LOL! Geez Deacon…did you intentionally pick the worst possible PS fanboy in order to support the 360 position?
Cluelessness is not unique to any one console’s users. In fact you don’t even need to look beyond the replies to this very thread to see that in action:
GTA IV to be 360 exclusive…ummm no. As for the unique episodic content on the 360 version thats all well and good but don’t start bragging until you see how Rockstar chooses to utilize that increased BluRay capacity.
Price difference? So what! Anybody that afford to buy a 360 could also afford a PS3. I dare anybody with a 360 to honestly say they haven’t put more than $600 into it already weither it be in the form of Live subscriptions, Marketplace points, wireless adapters, remote controls, memory cards, future HD-DVD drives, etc. The price difference is a non-issue. People said the 360 was too expensive when it came out also..
And for the love of god…get it straight people…BluRay IS NOT a Sony format, They did not invent it, they did not even have the lead in developing it. Stop already you are just making yourselves look like moronic fanbois.
As for launch numbers, we don’t know yet, we’ll see. But what we know KNOW as fact is this…there are MORE people pre-ordered/waiting for PS3 than there were 360. Their fan base is more than triple that of Xbox. Let me assure you of one other thing. Given the abject failure of the 360 launch quantities the bar was not set high at all.
Let me be clear about this…a fanboy…no matter what console, car, team, product, person, etc…is never to be taken as vaild.

and you know me…i give everyone their moment. one thing though..no matter what people say, price DOES matter. people were saying the 360 was expensive yes…and it’s $200 cheaper than the PS3 so what will they say about it? that it’s a bargain?
i’d get one if it were the same cost as the 360, but right now i don’t have the moolah lol
but he was prepared to take on all criticism after this interview…he signed the U360 ‘nothing is sacred’ documents lol

360 fans. First, I want to comment to oOo ROZZA : Just because I’m
not purchasing a PS3 at launch doesn’t mean I’m not a Playstation fan.
I’ve got other financial responsibilities that I have to take of and in the future
I DO INTEND ON GETTING A PS3 AND BEATING DEACON AGAIN IN MADDEN! I guarantee you that the PS3 will sell out at launch so my actions don’t reflect an entire Playstation nation. Also you said I don’t have any knowledge about the PS3 as far as specs and other info. I’m not that “nerdy” to know all that and like you said Sony hasn’t released any info AS OF YET as to the game pricing and online play. So what?? Does that mean anything??? Not really. I’m sure Sony will release information as the launch date gets closer. And I never said Sony came up with the Blue Ray but were using the technology in the PS3 just like Sony used the DVD format when creating the PS2. Its all good though. I welcome the criticism and appreciate your opinions. Anybody else???

ohhhk apparently everyone that either plays games is in this podcast I mean look we got a lot of playstation fanboys or whatever they want to call themselves already in our “community”!!!!! and it was only 1 person talking about the ps3 crazy but I think why the preorders werent high for the 360 were probably because people were playing halo 2 still that night i know i was a nerd and waited till midnight for mine just too play halo 2 on it lol I have turned down plastation 3 the only game I played on it was red faction because you can destroy walls lol but im not realy conserned about the ps3 i know there gonna do poorly if not as bad as people think they will , I mean for 600 plus tax is a lot of money and you still have to pay for the game which is like 60 and im not talking about backwards compatiblity i mean the new games the ones that were made for the ps3 so thats like 700 dollars right off the bat on launch day or whenever you buy the ps3 but all i can say is we gotta really be worried about the wii not the ps3 i mean it looks cool and very innovative so forget the ps3 lets concentrate on taking out wii umm ok im done but i wonder if it matters if preorders for the ps3 outsold the xbox360 because the preorders for halo 3 will beat the ps3 phenominaly easy ok now im done bye

Ok i just had to chime in on this i can’t help it. While i have no doubt about the PS3 selling out on launch day. Other then exculsive games what incentive does SONY give me to go out and spend another 1,000 plus on their console! Both consoles will be comparable in graphics looks at Virtua Tennis player face models compared to Dead Rising, there’s nothing so far that has wowed me when it comes to the new Playstation console. Also i know SONY had to make up for no rumble use in the controller ala the patent lawsuit they lost. But the titlt function is IMO just something else to cover up for the missing rumble feature in the dual shock. I would consider the PS3 purchase i used to have psone and PS2 and at one time a psp. But until SONY shows me something more advanced other then what i already enjoy on my 360 im not sold just yet. It’s gonna take more from Kojima-san to make me want to play and buy a PS3. Im talking games im not intrested in BD until the technology bcomes more accepted by the main stream and until this technology is adopted by the masses and the price is more consumer friendly.

M wifes boss said he was getting a PS3. When I asken why he chose that over the 360/Wii he said that he has always had a playstation and he will continue to. I told him about the price and he said he didn’t care. As long as it had the name “Playstation” he was getting it. I asked him if he had done any research on it what he thought of Blu Ray and he had no clue what I was talking about.
I don’t mind people that want one console over another, as long as they know “why” they want a particular console. It doesnt make sence to me to blindly follow one company over another.
