Monday Morning Scripted
First I’d like to say that I hope everyone had a good weekend and thanks for tuning in to the debut show. I appreciate all the feedback on it as well as those who subscribed to the show! It was awesome checking the list this morning and seeing the subscribed #.
I’d like to introduce Monday Morning Scripted. I’ll be offering up one of these every Monday to recap what I did over the weekend and also paint the picture for what is hot currently throughout the Xbox 360 community. I’ll also take some time to point out things I may have missed during the previous show and give a list of hot topics that may make it on the next show.
So this is the first Monday Morning Scripted.
I saw Pirates of the Caribbean again on Sunday…still a really good sequel in my opinion as well as the others who managed to make it the best opening released film ever with upwards of $132 million dollars! Depp was fantastic…Bill Nighy was as well. The others did an okay job.
I recorded the show the day before around 12PM CST…it was a relief to get the first one over and done with. I feel a lot better about the next show and the possibility of a guest (s) appearing.
What are the hot topics right now?
- Is there a new Xbox 360?
- Should players age/maturity level be listed on the gamercard?
- Must have XBLA titles?
- Microsoft Point Boycott?
- Is the Zathura forum the new Off Topic forum?
- Female Live players? (from our fellas in the UK)
- Battle for Middle Earth 2
These are just a few things that may make their way on the show for dissection and a few things you may want to search around and check out.

I think Monday Morning Scripted is a great idea. I think you should include a link to a thread for each of the topics you cover, just for quick access to those who might have missed one of the topics.
Anyway, I love it, great way to try to improve the terrible monday workday.

Good first show .. bet you’re glad to get it out of the way though! : )
I’ve noticed that you’ve listed “Marketplace Point Boycott” as a potential future topic.
I for one will not be boycotting points as I have spent many an hour playing the full versions of various XBLA titles and agree with the original concept of having a universal XBL currency – removing the need to price items in various currencies.
I also enjoy episodic content and the subscribe to the theory that “eventually” this will enable publishers to bring down the RRP of X360 titles.
There are plenty of forum threads dedicated to the “overpriced” items on XBLMP – so I’m not going to go on about that here – but I still think that the fundamental problem is that there is currently no way to “earn” these points…

If MS want to justify having their own currency then they need to remove the link betweeen real money and MS points – but whilst the only way to acquire points is to buy them, this will never happen.
