There’s nothing like a good cause spreading through the community and we may just have one for you with a really special Double Unscripted 360 Showcase.
Two members…One goal…and the only place to check it all out…
Before we get started on what brought you two to Unscripted 360 for this Showcase, let’s find out a few things about ya.
There are always different people behind what they choose as Gamertags. So tell the readers who are the guys behind x SeanZ z and CARmakazie?
CAR - Well, I’m a 14 year-old gamer. I started gaming on the SNES when I was very young. Ever sense, I have been a gamer. I love to read and listen to music, too.
Sean - For me personally, there’s nothing special behind my Gamertag. I really wanted Z, a nickname all of my friends gave me, but its taken (by a 360 Launch Team member who never playes his 360.) The reason the Z is capitalized is because it’s a nickname my friends gave me since my last name is Russian and is so hard to pronounce.
Are there any fun stories behind choosing your Gamertags?
CAR - I saw my Gamertag in an ad for Battlefield 2 for the PC. Some guy was driving a dune-buggy of a building. I later bought the game and used the name, while doing the same stunts as the ad showed.
Sean - The only funny thing I could think of is how many times people have asked me what the Z stands for, and all they say is “Huh?”

New maps are available in the Xbox Live Marketplace for EA’s Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth II.

Aragorn’s Journey Map Pack 1 - 700 points
Maps include:
Unlock three Marketplace Exclusive Maps: Weathertop, Argonath, and Umbar. Play as any of the six factions in single-player skirmish and any of the five multiplayer modes.
Weathertop
Wage war on this four-player map and conquer the summit of Weathertop, where Aragorn and the Hobbits were attacked by the Ringwraiths and Frodo was stabbed with a Morgul blade. Whomever can claim and hold the summit of Weathertop will garner a huge advantage in reigning victorious on this ominous and dark map.
Argonath
Argonath, also known as The Gates of the Argonath or The Pillars of the Kings, is the towering monument The Fellowship passes on the banks of the River Anduin. On the two-player map by the same name, these two enormous pillars creating a central battle line splitting the battlefield. Control this battle line and the Argonath Pillars will grant you victory.
Umbar
Home to the corrupted Corsairs, evil and barbarous men following the dark forces of Sauron, Umbar, a two-player map, forms a natural harbor of enclosing rock, providing a perfect setting for intense naval battles and tight cornered combat. Conquer the sea and bombard your opponents’ base with naval artillery. If you flank him from the rear of his base, conquering the treacherously narrow land, you will claim victory at Umbar.
Digg this story.
Debuting this Wednesday in the Xbox Live Arcade will be a title that, although often played, is still highly anticipated. The long standing ‘when is SFII releasing’ complaints will finally come to an end.

Who will you be? M.Bison or Guile? Ken or Ryu? What combo will you use? Spinning kicks or flying uppercuts? The time is near…get ready! I’m sporting my SFII Gamerpic…are you?
Xbox Live Arcade Wednesdays presents…Street Fighter II’ Hyper Fighting!
Another show…another Monday…another recap of the weekend’s events and what’s hot right now. This is Monday Morning Scripted. I want to send my thanks again for the amazing response to U360’s sixth show which featured an interview with Microsoft and Xbox’s own TriXie. She was an absolute joy to speak with and my thanks once again go out to her.
I wanted to check out Miami Vice this weekend but having a flat tire (an 18″ flat tire mind you that costs $100+ to replace) kind of spoiled my mood for movies. It knocked Capt. Jack Sparrow off the #1 list though with a little over $25 million at the box office for the Vice boys.
The Q&A w/ Gamefly is still on tap…working with PR is often a challenge so patience on that one. New Showcases will be heading your way this week as well as another Special Edition Wednesday with Five Calls and an M.M.F. minute planned. Be sure to take advantage of the opportunity to make YOURSELF famous!
And I did find out about the Podcast Awards that many of you emailed asking me about. It doesn’t appear to be anything ‘official’. It’s a fan based count that if you knew about it, you voted for your favorite podcast. There are a few recognizable shows nominated for various categories but after noticing glaring omissions like Major Nelson’s show, GamerAndy etc…I figure it’s nothing ‘official’ but something that if you inform your listeners about, you stand a good chance at being nominated.
So the next time they roll around, I’ll be sure to mention them to see if anyone will vote for U360 but for right now it doesn’t seem like an ‘official’ reflection of the best out there especially when Major Nelson or GamerAndy isn’t even nominated.
Hot topics:
- E3 200?. Is it the end of the media event as we know it?
- Sony to make ‘Entitlements’ for its fanbase much like Xbox 360’s ‘Achievement’?
- What was your last Achievement unlocked?
- Games you should play before you die?
- New Gamercard Icons?
Here’s a new twist to the Make Me Famous minute that I was going to announce on the Special Edition show this Wednesday but I’ll go ahead and announce it today.

U360 is giving you the opportunity to make your own M.M.F. minute shout! How you ask when you can’t possibly coordinate with me on air time? Well it’s easy if you have a PC and a microphone or other tool to record audio on your PC. That’s all you need to make it happen. Audio clips will be added right to the show during the M.M.F. minute. For those interested, you now have the chance to personalize your own famous shout. Something simple like “Hey, this is DeaconBlade 360 and I’m pimpin my Make Me Famous minute”.
These are the steps:
- Turn your PC on
- Record your very own M.M.F. minute shout (no long speeches lol)
- Save it as an mp3 or .wav file
- Email it to unscripted@unscripted360.com
First I’d like to again say thanks to TriXie for sharing a Saturday with me and the listeners here at Unscripted 360. I had a wonderful time. We have to do it again for sure. There’s great information about icons, party-in-a-box’s and more inside!
One note to make…TriXie forgot to mention the Halo 2 headset purchases which benefit Katrina victims. I figured I’d mention it now so it gets some attention. So please check out the link below:
